My husband and I are trying out every resturaunt on the riverwalk, once we are finished we will return to the ones we like. This will not be one of them, I ordered a plate with crispy tacos, flautas and queso. The crispy tacos were not bad but nothing worth returning for, my chicken flautas were full of cold grease, I understand flautas are fried but when I make them I tilt them to drain the excess oil, the chicken inside was flavorless. I basically bit into a corn tortilla with pain chicken and cold oil in it. The queso dip was basically velveeta melted, no effort, I can toss that into a pot at home and do a better job. The cheese was stiff, I personally like mama margies queso better, it doesn't get stiff right away cause its not just a lazy melted velveeta cheese dip (or so it seemed). Also my husband's plate had guacamole which was not seasoned. There was no decent hot sauce just the cold tomato crap they served with chips. There's plenty of other Mexican resturaunts down the riverwalk. Take a pass on this one.
Went to this place late at night, thinking it was a good place. Boy. were we wrong! The food choices were not excepted. While eating our tacos, a couple started arguing and the man hit the lady, and had we not said something about it, no one including the staff would have done a thing. Cops did so up, but no one was really concerned. We were told to mind our own business. by one of the patrons. as if.... Not A Fan of this place it staff.
Worst Mexican food that my wife and I have ever eat. My wife and I eat out about six times a week due to our work schedule. We decided to eat here because of the reviews. Very bad idea. We checked out the reviews when we got back and found that out of the 44 review all but a couple were by the same person. Again we like Mexican food and eat it regular, but this place had the very worst that we have eaten. San Antonio has several Mexican restaurants so do waste your time here.
