Thank you so much for accommodating our private celebration and providing an exceptional service !! The food is always amazing, no question there... however, don’t wait too long .. some of their dishes may not be available due to popularity..make your order fast.. it’s that good!! Thank you again!!! We are definitely coming back !
I went here on Valentine's Day and truly felt the love and confidence from the staff. The inside of this restaurant is quite quaint . The complimentary bread and olive oil they give is divine and perfectly flaky. I haven't tried every dish, however, if you are looking for a delicious, old school Italian restaurant, look no further.
Went there with family over President's Day '17. San Antonio was unusually crowded over the weekend. Scuzzi's was a great dinner stop. We ordered the Shrimp Scuzzi's, Tenderloin as entree and Fried Ravioli and Bruschette as appetizer. The food was splendid, and ample for us all. They have a good wine selection to choose from. Will definitely return.
P.S. - Restaurant maybe crowded over weekends. Putting down your reservation in advance might be a good idea.
Visited this place with my friend when I was in town for the weekend and I can't even begin to tell you how many times I rolled my eyes into the back of my head every time I took a bite of food. AMAZING food! It's phenomenal. I will be visiting again and will make sure to go back!
Great happy hour appetizer and $5 wine. Definitely coming back for happy hour.
Ordered the shrimp scuzzi's, they were huge. Pork chop were delicious and perfect for sharing.
Staff in the bar area and the dinning room were very polite and attentive.
We're here for V-day. We came all the way from Austin, which has a lot of good Italian restaurants. We heard a lot about this from friends and family. They're all right. This place is very good.
Definitely my top 3
We came here with family for my son's birthday. The experience was exceptional and the food was fantastic. They even brought our son a little birthday dessert.
We absolutely recommend this place.
My wife and a friend had luch at Scuzzi's on loop 1604 recently and really enjoyed it. My wife and I had chicken which was good if not memorable, but our friend had the salmon with caper sauce that was 'to die for'. Next visit, we will have the salmon.

Provided by Citysearch -I will never to to Scuzzi's again. My husband and I were going to be seated in a booth and I don't like booth's, so I asked the person seating us if we could have a table near by. He said yes, so we sat down. The table wasn't cleaned all the way yet, so a bus person started doing so while we were waiting. The manager saw us seating there and quickly came to us and he started yelling at the young man ""what are you doing, you are not suppose to take customers to tables that are cleaned or ready"" and he then turned to me and said ""this table is not cleaned yet"" and then he rudely turned to the young man and said ""take them to the front of the restaurant right now"" and by then, my husband was so upset, that he told him ""hey calm down, you don't need to to yell"". That poor young man was so humiliated and frankly we were as well by the way he was yelling. DON'T GO, THERE ARE MUCH BETTER ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN SAN ANTONIO WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Provided by Citysearch -I know for a fact that the manager is rude to customers and his staff- he actually cusses at them, that the kitchen is dirty and the water used to wash bar glasses is dirty and the sink is rarely cleaned. I highly recommend you do not eat here. The manager has also stated he ""doesn't have female wait staff because girls are too much drama"". I overheard him telling his hostess that is why she couldn't be a server.

Provided by Citysearch -This is one of the cleanest restaurants in town. I eat here about twice a month. I personally know the owner and adore the manager- very polite and professional. The food is always wonderful. My husband and I have never had a bad experience.
Keep up the great work.

Provided by Citysearch -Bugs in the food! .
Me and my wife tried scuzzis tonight and we will never be back! after a complaint that her rice tasted strange she started looking closely at her meal. She found a roach in her food! after informing the management that there was a bug in her food he informed us ""it was a mistake, bugs get into food all the time and there is not a whole lot we can do about it. What do you want me to do?"" Very rudely. He even had the nerve to tell us we still have to pay for the meal because my wife had eaten 1/2 of it before finding the bug. After telling the manager that I was disgusted and would never be eating at this restaurant again he informed me that ""He was glad I would never be coming back because he didn't need people like me in his establishment."" because I was ""overreacting about a simple bug."" This was no simple bug, it was a huge roach! The management and owners are all from India, mind you im not racist my sister in-law is from India, however we all know the cleanliness Indian restaurants. are a step below Chinese restaurants.
