This place continues to perplex me! Some nights the service and atmosphere are outstanding (Thursday nights are excellent..... Might have something to do with the great bartenders working that night!!! ) and other nights are like last night when poor service and attitude seem to be the norm...There are to many places nearby where service is more prompt to deal with this. I would not recommend this place to a friend..... Oh and it might help to actually live up to the sports bar moniker and ditch the music for monday night football..... Just Saying

I only go here because my friends drag me there every once and awhile but I dont know why I keep wasting my money there.
The bartenders, ALL OF THEM, are slow & unfriendly, escpecially if youre a girl. Everytime Ive been, I watch them stand there stare in the the air or sip on drinks all while youre patiently wait for a drink. Slow night or busy night its best to just avoid this place.
Cons: Service Sucks

I ran into this review and decided to express my own opinions about this bar as well. It's one place you need to avoid!!!
I've come to this bar a few times and every time something bad is going on in the background.
I'm no longer ever setting foot in this bar after the last few incidents I've seen. Along with the owners Sons racist blogs on myspace.
I don't see why this bar stays open or why TABC has not shut it down.
The owners tend harass military and will kick you out if you dont tip what they want. They'll ban you for not tipping !! This is a true fact better go in there with a few extra bucks or get ban or even arrested..
(A tip is not a mandatory thing my Arab friends! It shows generosity and lets the wait staff know you're a satisfied customer .
This forced payout may apply where you're from but not here!
They've also been known to use mean spirited tactics to get military members arrested or even in fights.
On more than a few occasions I've seen the son and his friends use aggressive tactics on patrons.
I've also over heard the owners son us pro middle eastern anti American sentiments on many occasions and found them to be rude and unfounded .
Makes you wonder why their opened under a military recruitment station.
I would stay far away from this bar as possible.

i love coming here with my co-workers after work! the staff is really friendly and they always have great drink specials.
i can usually find random people to pick up a game of pool or darts if i come on my own too.
the bands on the weekends are usually pretty good, but they always have some kind of entertainment. i totally recommend this place if you are looking to get out and have some fun.

The owners of this bar try to pass themselves off as Military friendly... Don't be Fooled! They’re inconspicuously hostile towards Service Members! I am a former employee, and I witnessed an appalling incident while bartending one night. An Active Duty Soldier came in w/ a group of his friends an opened a tab. Two of the female bartenders intentionally got him overly intoxicated, ran up his tab to a ridiculous amount, and then in a shady prostitute-type way -- persuaded him to tip them $50. Though he was drunk; he appeared very reluctant to tipping that amount. That is just one out of numerous shady acts perpetrated by those disgusting t-r-a-m-p-s at ROXY's... sanctioned by the adolescent-like son of the Hajji owners! My advice is for all to avoid this S---hole!
I HAVE'NT BEEN TO ROXY FOR A WHILE .SO I RECENTLY WENT AND I HAD A GREAT TIME. STILL LIKE THE ATMOSPHERE. BARTENDERS ARE VERY WECOMING AND RESPECTFUL .THIS IS A NICE PLACE TO HANG OUT .BUT YOU GOT TO HAVE PATIENTS WITH THE BARTENDERS.WHEN YOUR WAITING TO ORDER YOUR DRINKS .WHO EVER SAID THAY THE SERVICE WAS BAD . WELL YOU DON' T HAVE ANY PATIENTS.PUT YOURSELF IN THERE POSITIONS.IT'S CROWDED AND THEY'LL GET TO YOU.BE NICE ,RESPECTFUL TO THE BARTENDERS AND DON'T FORGET TO TIP THEM ALSO.

...This seems to be a sports bar with great intentions but it's lacking in the freak department because of it's military presence. It's a cool place though, I've been told not to go back because I was hitting on one of the bartenders, but it was probably for not tipping. Sometimes I won't tip if I order two freakin cheap draft beers for myself. I work part time, for the sakes of allah's nad's. It's cool, some decent women, but usually tide into the Military and there is nothing wrong with that. They have a decent atmosphere and outstanding live bands. Go if you want some different eye candy other then the usual local meat mercado's.
