I took my German Shepard puppy there to be seen and they denied me medical attention they said he was showing signs of parvo and "recommended" we went else where !!!! I was devastated !! Never again will I go there or recommend it to anyone ! ... I am happy to report my puppy Chevy is doing great I did research online and found an all natural med for him which I purchased at a feed store called paxxin followed instructions and my puppy is as good as new !! Thanks for nothing rigsby vet clinic!
My dog, Fred was very sick. I took him to Rigsby Veterinary Clinic, and he was diagnosed with diabetes. Dr. Luke Proctor, and the staff took charge of Fred, got his blood sugar down, and took VERY good care of him while he was hospitalized. The charges were very reasonable for a week's stay at the hospital, and the staff were all wonderful to Fred. When I visited Fred, I could tell he was bonding with the staff thee. Fred is doing well. I give him insulin shots every day, and he is feeling great. I have had pets all my life, and used many vets. Dr. Proctor is definitely my favorite.
Our Rotti was a patient of Rigsby Veterinary Clinic for 8yr.. All of the Doctors took care of her very well and I was alway happy with all of there services ... Our Rotti past away this past December from cancer ... The staff at Rigsby were and have always been compassionate with her .. The whole experience that we went though was very caring ... My family and I received a beautiful caring sympathy card a few days later signed by all the Doctors and the employees .. Thank You Rigsby Staff...
My family and I have been coming to Rigsby Veterinary clinic when Dr. Burchers was the veterinary. Dr. Luke Proctor and Dr. Sheryl Proctor are the only 2 doctors that see my 2- senior dogs. They are both excellent Doctors but if the staff doesn't improve I am sorry to say I have no problems asking for copies of my dogs records and going elsewhere. The suggestion I do have is a better office manager, pleasant receptionists and more educated technicians.... At one point they had a very pleasant clinic manager by the name of Sarah L... She always acknowledged me by my last name, ( the 2 front desk employees never can remember my name nor my pets even if I had just been there the day before . Better yet I don't even get acknowledged when walking in to the clinic.. ) was very people friendly and compassionate employee. Whenever checking in for an appt with Sarah or one of her receptionist I NEVER had to repeat what my visit at the office was for that day... These 2 girls that they have now are just flat out ignorant. They keep each other humored with none related work conversions instead of checking up with the clients in the waiting room...God forgive you call up to the client because you will be left and sometimes even forgot on hold. I can’t even count the many times this has happen to me. Now on the other hand there is 2 (and I mean only 2 ) technicians ( Kristy and Emily ) that are very thorough and i always make sure it only one of them that see my 2 dogs.
Over all I can only say good things about the Doctors and the 2 technicians... I do hope that Dr. Proctor does read this and replaces some of his staff like he has been doing to his clinic.
