I recently broke a tooth and it became infected and very, very painful. I searched the internet far and wide to find a dentist who would accept payments in-house because I have no insurance right now. Dr. Rapanotti was the only one I could find in this huge city. I called his office yesterday and immediately got an appt. for today. I was so impressed with his office; the staff are friendly and sweet, the place is absolutely beautiful, and he is SO nice. I have a phobia of dentists but no way could I be scared of this man. He was unable to save my tooth and had to refer me to an oral surgeon, but he gave me scripts for an antibiotic and some good pain medicine until I can come up with the cash for oral surgery. He did an x-ray and spent a good while talking to me and reassuring me, and guess what the charge was? ZERO!! I almost fainted at the desk when they told me I didn't owe anything. He also assured me that he could replace my tooth very quickly after the extraction, and was up front about his prices. I can't imagine why these people tried to flame him in reviews, but they need to step away from the crack pipe because this guy is amazing!! And @ Stephanie: no doubt about it, if you can afford an overseas vacation then you could have made your payments, so please take your ridiculous pity party elsewhere...no one here is buying it.

I wasn't going to go through joining to write this review until Stephanie posted. I've come to the conclusion she must have gone to a different dentist. I spent about 12 years going to him to get every tooth in my mouth crowned(due to soft teeth) and always made payments to him. I didn't pay near 1000 dollars for any of the crowns and after all these years everyone of them is still in perfect shape. He never hounded me about my payments and if I was short a little once in a while, no one ever worried about it. Sometimes it took longer to pay off some of the work and he never charged me interest. Super great guy, funny, easy on the eyes and does fast, good work. I couldn't care less where he lives or how much money he has, he does a service for me at a fair price he deserves his money that he earns. I've missed out on many vacations due to dental work, life suxs, not his fault and why should he worry about your vacation. You coulda went with rotten teeth in pain, just sayin
