The office is very nice and Debie the lady up front was so helpful and sweet. My little dog is fearful fo strangers, however the tech Jennifer was very good with him. He really seam to like her. Dr McMaughan answered all my questions and told me what was going on in words that i could understand. My little baby had to stay for iv fluids and i knew that he was well cared for. I would recommend Dr McMaughen to any one i will never see another vet she is great.

Be aware when you pick up your pet after 12pm you will be charged a full night of boarding. So why not leave your pet another night and get your money's worth..? Our flight home was changed and we called and informed them that we would not be able to pick them up until the next day after work. Not a problem. No mention of two nights of boarding fees. I understand the overnight charge for the actual overnight stay but the 7:30am-12pm full charge is ridiculous. Informed them of what happened and all I was stated is what their policy is, even when asked how can you charge an overnight stay in a 4 1/2 hours, no valid explanation was given. So for those who travel and experience changes in travel and work as well, DO NOT use the boarding services. They care more about the money then the customer.

I had to have one of my cats put to sleep because she had leukemia and they were very compassionate and all the staff is friendly. You can tell they all love animals. I have officially changed vets and will continue to see Dr. Weeks for as long as I have pets and that will be as long as I live.

After taking my cat to this vet for 3 years, i learned upon a 2nd opinion he had missed obvious signs of end stage cancer- the obvious growth that was a tumor and her moods. I was told here are some drops, your cat will be fine but she was obviously suffering. I took her the very next day for a 2nd opinion and was immediately told it was probably a cancerous tumor, and a biopsy was performed. I was asked why my other vet did not do this test and how he could have missed this obvious sign over 3 years of care? I would not recommend this vet or clinic to anyone. This vet, Dr. Weeks, was also on the news for something very unacceptable-parents and pet owners beware.

Sure this Weeks fellow might be a scumbag but there's a wonderful vet by the name of Marie McMann who works there. She is up front, and honest. She reads people as well as their pets. I took my sick pet in and she (and the techie) were so warm and they seemed to really care about my pet. Marie spent a great deal of time with me explaining what was going on. She did not order unnessasary (and expensive) tests ""just to make sure"". \n I have taken my pets to Potranco for many years and the care there was sufficient and efficient but Dr. McMann's care was warm and comforting. She even gave me her personal contact information, urging me to call her at any time, day or night, if I was at all concerned. What kind of vet does that? A good one.

I used to work at the Pet Medical Center under Dr. Scott Weeks. I did not leave on the best of terms, but I do not wish to see Dr. Weeks bashed by clients who spent very little time with him, and who used to trust him with the lives of their pets. I know what has been on the news and what Dr. Weeks is accused of. Not to diminish the crimes comitted against any children and their families, but I saw Dr. Weeks all the time, spent the day with him,his wife, and his kids on two separate occassions outside of the clinic. I am a big fan of Psychology and Sociology and I have more text books than most practicing head-shrinkers!! I am aware of most of the lesser known ""tells"" that would call attention to a predator. I never once heard or saw Dr. Weeks exhibit any behavior that was even remotely questionable. With ANYONE, let alone a child! I know that doesn't make him innocent, but it sure as hell should afford him the right to be tried and found guilty in a court of law BEFORE people turn on him and villify him in public.\n\nAnd did no one think of the damage done to his wife and kids by all this nasty publicity? The people who are outraged over the violation of a child are no less guilty than the accused when they enable the same magnitude of psychological damage to be done to one child in the name of justice for another child. I hope his children can forgive those who were so busy condemning their father before his ""due process"", that they forgot ""Two wrongs do not make a right"".\n\nKimbreley Hartmangruber, C.Ph.T.\nFormer Employee @ Pet Medical Center

I highly recommend this facility. We have been taking our dog there for six years (since she was a puppy) and the staff has alway been very attentive and caring. Our dog actually gets excited when she sees the building and doesn't resist until it's time to get examined. Our dog was diagnosed with heartworms a few years ago (my fault) and the doctors and staff took great care of her during her treatment and provided us with all the information we needed on how to care for her during the grueling treatments. If we had a question, all we had to do was call and someone would get us an answer. I am happy to say that our dog now has a clean bill of health! When we learned she was diagnosed with heartworms, we called around to other vet offices to compare prices and this office was one of the lowest priced that we found. Now, I know there have been some legal issues with the main doctor, and I in no way condone what he did. However, when we heard the news, we discussed as a family if we should continue taking our dog and my mother said that we shouldn't just base our decision on the doctor's actions. She said if people stop taking their pets, other innocent people are affected also, like the other vets, technicians, and staff who could lose their jobs if business slows, plus they had all always been good to us and our dog. So, we decided to keep her there and have not regretted our decision at all.

I have been looking for a new vet for almost a year and I have found the jackpot! The place is clean, the staff is very nice and the Dr. Marie really really cares about the animals she treats. She has a great relationship with the animals she treats, she is caring and not cruel or hard on the animals. They don't stress they animals out. There is always a staff member in the exam room with her to assist and treat. They are patient with the animals and will answer all your questions. The staff and doctor takes the time they need with you and your pet, not rushing or over booking. The prices are reasonable and the staff will give you a quote in advance when asked. I have heard about the other doctor problems but that is not an issue, he is there only a few days a week. Dr. Marie takes cares of most of the days and she is so sweet and nice. I now bring my two dogs to see her and I recommend to anyone looking for a vet to come here. And they do, they love it here also. This is a new state of the art facility that can handle all your pets needs. Food, treats, meds, surgery and boarding. Plus they don't hassle you if you ask for a written prescription to buy your pet meds elsewhere. A great place. Super people.
