Nina the owner has a very Cavalier persona. Semi engaged and pleasant. Picked up my garment and it was done improperly one side was down ok other side not. Garment uneven in lopsided. I will not take it back. It was a caftan how easy would that have been. Called A & D alterations to correct it. Got a sense if I had taken it back to Nina she would have charged me 25 more dollars not today.
well today i found my ALTERATION shop. Thank you NINA. I walk in and i was greated with a smile and a how could i help you. I felt welcomed. I needed a dress tailored and every where i went i was told that it would take a while, it was to much work and that the time period i wanted it to be ready was to short notice. Well i found ninas alteration and my dress was made at the time i needed it. Thank you nina. I will make sure to be a valid customer all my clothes are for you.
I needed my skirt fixed ASAP....for work I had lost the usual one I wear. I am a flight attendent. The lady stopped what she was working on and fixed my skirt she told me 2 hours and I could pick it up!!! This was very nice as I needed to wear the shirt on an early morning flight. Thanks......I will be back!!!!!

I had two pairs of lined slacks hemmed here a couple of months ago and was extremely dissatisfied with the workmanship on one pair and the level of customer service that I received when I expressed my dissatisfaction. I was charged an additional $4 each to hem the lining on both pairs which I can understand. One pair was fine, but the first time I wore the other pair (about a week later), I noticed that the lining showed beneath the hemline. When I got finally had an opportunity to call, another week had passed. I was told that I would probably have to pay again for them to fix it. I didn't see their policy posted, but apparently they will only guarantee their workmanship for one week. I was told that the owner may or may not fix the pants at no charge, but I would have to go in and talk to her. My ticket was pulled by the person that I spoke with (who was very nice) and by that evening I had decided that I would cut my losses and never go back. The owner never tried to contact me to let me know anything one way or the other. I think that any reputable person would be willing to stand behind their work and ensure that their customers would return. You are much better off looking for a different place, there are too many good ones out there to give your business to someone who doesn't care whether you come back or not!!
