Mariachi Imperial: Classic and Fresh!!

Mariachi Imperial de Lupita delivers a truly enjoyable show that captures not only the best Mexican classics but also some American favorites done under the spellbinding style of these talented musicians.

They go from such Mexican-roots classics like Los Laureles, Tres Dias, and Por Un Amor by Lupita, to bilingual renditions of Somos Novios, Solamente Una Vez, and I'm In the Mood for Love.

This is a Mariachi troupe that makes you feel like you are enjoying a concert planned just for you!

Mariachi Imperial, Simply Sensational!

Mariachi Imperial de Lupita is not just a mariachi group. They are a musical experience that stays with you much after their performance. We had the pleasure of having them at our wedding and their performance honestly made our reception a resounding success.

Mariachi Imperial was ready to greet us and lead us to our table as we arrived with the son "La Negra." As we sat down, Jose Rosario, the handsome singer and trumpet player, sang the romantic ballad "Somos Novios" going from Spanish to English with the smoothness of an experienced crooner. Lupita then joined him as they sang my grandmother's favorite song "Hay Unos Ojos." What a great performance and what vocal virtuosity by both Lupita and Jose. There was not a dry eye in the ballroom as they finished the song. After several other romantic songs for us, they went on to perform for our guests, playing "Guantanamera," "Cielito Lindo," "Rancho Grande," Volver, Volver" and many other favorites, including happy cumbias and bullfighting songs. We all had such a blast that we ended up dancing with Mariachi Imperial on their last song, their trademark cumbia "El Cafetal."

We will now count Mariachi Imperial as part of our parties. Of course, we became fans and I know that Lupita has a cameo on the Selena video "No Me Queda Mas," and that both Jose and Lupita are published composers and recording artists with several awards, including some national songwriting awards for Jose Rosario. We appreciate Mariachi Imperial, Lupita, and Jose, because they are great artists and also awesome persons. They are simply sensational!

Mariachi Imperial de Lupita: Simply the best music!

ariachi Imperial de Lupita proved to be the best Mariachi ensemble I have ever heard and seen. This troupe of gifted musicians and singers is fronted by the beautiful and classy, Lupita, a true singing sensation. Lupita delivers the rancheras with lots of heart, delivering hurt-songs like Por Un Amor and Los Laureles with the passion and the artistry of a performer who lives for her music. Another of my favorites by Lupita is the Rocio Durcal song penned by Juan Gabriel, Amor Eterno Mariachi Imperials range of music was also surprising, as they delivered romantic classics, like Somos Novios (Its Impossible) and Sabor A Mi sung by trumpet player and singer/songwriter Jose Rosario. The musicianship was palpable, as the band went from a great version of Guantanamera to the classic mariachi anthem Son De La Negra to a beautiful rendition of And I Love You So to return with a fiey paso doble from Spain, Novillero. They played all my favorites, from Rancho Grande (which had us all singing along) to Cielito Lindo, to my dads all time favorite, Volver Volver. What a great night we had! So for that, and to recognize the impressive Mariachi Imperial de Lupita, cheers!
