It was very delicious!! I ordered the chicken parmesan and I loved it. It was a bit much for me to finish but it was great for a late night snack. My husband got the spaghetti bake and ordered meatballs on the side, that was also very good. You have to try the stuffed mushrooms, those were my fave!!
I don't get it!
I've had several people rant and rave about this place finally went with a group and got a pizza and a "family" salad, So the salad comes in a bowl and you get plates for your salad and knife and forks however NO Salad spoon or fork what are you supposed to use your hands? so I asked for a utensil of some kind and was told they didn't have any. so later that night needless to say 3 people out of 5 got food poisoning will NEVER go back!
Finally! We have an actual pizza joint in San Antonio! Best pizza hands down! I've been waiting for this for so long! Toppings are loaded, flavor is amazing! Service is awesome and owner is down to earth and friendly! Love it be back every chance I get! Try the stuffed mushrooms as well! Mmmm mmm mmm!
Ok I was very impressed on how quickly we got a table. How quickly we were greeted. Above all we were impressed on the size of the pizza and the taste..It was great! I personally think Maars is better than big lous....By Far.. And yes, I was a regular at big lous for a couple of years. Im going to be a loyal customer to Maars frm now on... You cant beat great food and great customer service!!!

I called to ask if they were hiring drivers and the morning person did not even know anything and said to call back. I called back and the woman, I think carrolline or something was rude to me and acted like I was bothering her. Learn some manners, especially in a new business in a location that had a previously FAILED pizza place!! I will NEVER eat there, i'm sure they are even more rude in person!
dont know this family so I am not reviewing on their behalf and Yes I have been to Big Lou's no offense but who hasnt? And yes their food is great, however not only is MAAR's better but the service is way better as well! I live across the street right in front of St. Helena's and in our neighborhood everyone and i mean EVERYONE is raving!!!! I'm not going to lie the mushrooms a little too salty for my taste but every great restaurant is bound to have one flaw! Met the owners amazing, down to earth people going to keep spreading the word for ya'll! Keep doing ya'll! God will keep blessing ya'll just know you cant always please everyone!
highly recommend maars pizza it was fresh and not greasy and very filling we had ordered a 20 inch and the young lady that was taking our order advised about how big the pizzas really are so we went with the 16 it was three of us and we got super full and still had pizza left over so if your looking for great pizza maars is the place

In the short time they have been open I have been back three times. Service is prompt, attentive and friendly. Every time I have been greeted by one or both of the owners. The atmosphere is clean, casual and fun. Check out the alien mural in the main dining room; you can identify the owners in the ET caricatures. The food is definitely superior, and you can tell that there is a lot of pride and attention to detail. So far I have tried: Wings, spicy, not breaded, served hot with either ranch or blue cheese. Bottle Caps (Deep fried jalepeno disks) which are yummy, but not too ""pica."" The fried mushrooms... oh, the fried mushrooms! They are huge! Too big to eat in one bite, but the house recipie coating stays on even if you cut the shroom with a knife. They are my favorite appetize so far, and I REALLY like the wings! The pizza is fantastic; buttery crust, ample cheese, generous toppings. Yesterday I ordered the calzone for 8 bucks. This dish could easily serve 3 people! LOVE IT!
