Law Office of Kim M. Pettit

I hired an attorney in October 2017 to probate by Son's will. He was paid his retainer fee of $2500.00 in advance. I live in Corpus Christi, Texas and he in San Antonio. That is where the will had been drawn up. After a couple of months of not hearing from him, I gave him a called and asked about the delay. He came up with excuses about long trials, the holidays, etc.
In March 2018, after I was told that he would no longer be going to his office,I had to make a special trip to San Antonio to get my Son's original will that I had left with this attorney.
My retainer fee was never returned to me and after checking with the courthouse, he had done nothing as far as filing to have the will probated or anything else.
So I needed another attorney. I looked on the internet and found Mr. Kim Pettit. I liked his reviews and gave him a call. We met the early part of April 2018, and I explained to him what had happened with my first attorney.
I hired Mr. Pettit to probate my Son's will and he drew up a contract.
In less than three weeks he and I were in Probate Court No. 1 getting the will probated. This was super fast compared to the first attorney I had hired.
After we left the court room Mr. Pettit explained to me the things I needed to do in order to have everything finalized.
I did as I was told and all was finalized, thanks to Mr. Pettit.
I wish that I had hired Mr. Pettit first, but I was told that original attorney I hired could help me. I had checked him out on the internet and all seemed to be ok.
I think that Mr. Pettit did a super job and in a timely manner too.
The explanations that he gave me were easy to understand. Since I had never been through anything like this before, he made it real easy for me and for that I will always be grateful.
I highly recommend Mr. Pettit to anyone that needs an attorney who is honest and
will do everything he can to help you in whatever situation you may need help with.
