        Kiddie Park is the perfect place for children and adults to enjoy a nostalgic day of old fashioned fun at one of San Antonio’s most treasured landmarks. It is the oldest children’s amusement park in the country, established in 1925 during the golden age of amusement parks and renovated in 2009. Kiddie Park has preserved its 1920’s style by maintaining all of the original rides, while updating the park with modern facilities. Guests can enjoy the parks’ old-fashioned ferris wheel and famous hand-carved Herschell Spillman carousel, as well as other classic kids’ rides that have made Kiddie Park an iconic San Antonio attraction for over 85 years.

        Overall

        New owners took over the park and renovated it in 2009. The changes they've made are tremendous! This is a safe park that I love taking my children too. I encourage everyone to keep the date in mind when they are reading reviews. The new park is most certainly updated and everyone should go see the changes they've made for the better!

        Birthday Party

        A friend had his children's party at Kiddie Park, and while I would recommend taking your kids to the park, I would advise against having a party there. The staff was not organized, and they ended up having to rush the guests off the tables for the next party, because the hostess did not do her job. I remember going to Kiddie Park as a child myself, and I loved taking my children to share in the experience. Prices are great too.
