I moved to San Antonio a couple years ago and have been using HN Nails ever since. Everyone from owners to technicians is always so welcoming from the moment you walk in and they know us regulars by our names. Their service is second to none and it is so nice to know I am in good hands every time I walk in that door. I am blessed with strong and thick nails so my favorite service is gel nails. The beauty of gel nail is that it dries in no time and lasts 2 – 3 weeks. I hardly ever went back to acrylic or regular nails since I was introduced to gel nail last spring. Yes, it is pricey but worth every penny. I recommend to asking for Wendy and booking her ahead of time. She is in high demands from customers and she always delivers no matter what service (Gel, French Gel, Design, Acrylic, Pedicure and Wax) I ask for. All the care and quality work she provides is absolutely impeccable. I always leave with fantastic nails and smile on my face… I cannot help strangers crave about my nails.
I have been to this place twice and had bad service each time. My first visit for shellac nails took almost two hours because they were short staffed. I went thru 3 nail techs before my nails were done and 2 days later my nails were chipping. My second and final visit was today for a lip and eyebrow wax. A new girl took me back and as she applied the wax initially I told her it was too hot.. She proceeded to do my eyebrow wax and it was horrible!!!!! I asked to speak with Han and asked her to fix my eyebrows. She immediately had an attitude and told me that I should have requested her first so that I didn't have to waste her time fixing the problem that HER employee caused! The nerve of this arrogant woman. She completed my eyebrows and now 3 hours later I have burns over my left eye and my lip because the wax was too hot!!! Needless to say I will NEVER go there again. If you want to go to a quality nail salon with nice people I recommend Alamo Nail Salon
I think the guys name was T. Honestly he did an amazing job. Took his time, was really detailed, and made my time there enjoyable. I'm new to San Antonio and have experience getting ripped off at nail salons, but this one by far is the best salon I've been too.
I have always done my own manicures so I was a little apprehensive to have someone else mess with my hands; I am extremely picky. I decided to put this on my bucket list, especially since I’m a great Grandma and my nails are a little old. I found the reviews here and decided to make an appointment with HN nails at Stone Oak Parkway (close to where I live). I did a lot of research on line to decide exactly what I wanted (fake nails with art detail). Well, you are all correct. Tina did my nails; they came out so beautiful, even better than the examples/pictures I found on-line (I looked at hundreds of examples, especially on PINTEREST. I was so lucky to find this place. My old nails look spectacular, even my husband was impressed. I might even put ‘pedicure’ on my bucket list, maybe. My toenails are quite old, I would like happy faces painted on them.
I have been very disappointed with nail shops in the past, but after visiting this place today I can honestly say that you get what you pay for. The nail tech really took her time with each nail and didn't make me feel like she was racing against the clock. All of my smile lines were even and she even went back through them to make sure they were perfect. I will definitely be returning for a pedicure before the week is out. You will not be disappointed. It is worth every penny!
PERFECTION! If that's what you're looking for, H N Nails is the place.
I have been to numerous nail salons trying to find someone that would meet my standards. I'm seriously OCD about my nails, to the point of looking at them with a lighted magnifying glass. I've had bubbles underneath, they're too thick, I can just pop them off, etc. You name it, I've tried it. My natural nails are paper thin and misshapen, which adds to the difficulty of getting good artificial nails. I've been reading about H N Nails and, frankly, was trying to find somewhere less expensive. Well, I got what I paid for.
Yesterday was my first visit to H N Nails, and I was extremely impressed. Everyone was so nice and attentive. I live about 40 miles north of San Antonio and I H-A-T-E STONE OAK. Nonetheless, I am an H N Nails customer for life.
Han applied my Solar nails, explaining everything as she went along. It took a couple of hours, because of her attention to detail. Numerous times Sammy and Han told me to make sure to let them know if my nails begin to give me any trouble, because they want to fix them, learn what caused the issue, and make it right.
So, again, if you're like me (extremely particular), save yourself time, money and pain (you know those salons that leave your fingers bleeding?) and just go to H N Nails. They are pricey, but the end result is so worth it.
The atmosphere is nice, none of the strong oders you smell in other salons. I do wish I could understand what they are saying. Surely they are talking about how amazing I am, right? They do a perfect job with the polish. The only thing I haven't liked... is being shuffled from station to station or having 2-3 people work on my nails in the same appointment. Perfect polish and shellac.
HN Nails...WOW, My nails look great and I feel great. I gone in with a mess from another place and Tina transformed my nails back to looken great!!!! Hanh gave me two very nice flowers with great details. Very polite staff. I wish I found them earlier. I will be back. Great job ladies, I will pass the word. ;-)
