Very beautiful, but don't let it fool you. The people who work here are not very kind, especially the owner. Before signing anything or agreeing upon anything, make sure that you read the contract. If you have lots of things happening in your life that just come up, or if your just really busy do not have the any event at this venue, because IT IS NONE REFUNDABLE. They don't care to work around issues that happen, meaning they're not flexible. Almost everything is extra/ pricy like ice, a chair, a table, a glass, microphone, runner, etc. Just a cake and punch ceremony/ reception will run you up to $2000 without the little things that matter like the aisle runner, microphone, decor, and each one is almost $100. Also if you want catering you can only choose from their list of caterers, most of them are pricey or just plain out gross. I know I been to the wedding being held here. Getting vendors out of their list is such a hassle, they have to have insurance, sign paper work, and get approved by venue. Regardless if they do have the requirements and the vendor does not approve its just a straight no, forget it, find something else. I shouldn't need anyones approval its my wedding. I would not suggest or refer this venue to anybody. They are too strict and they can careless about clients regardless of how much you spent. I have never felt so frustrated working with these people, they drove me to tears. Never had a venue make me feel so hopeless til this one. They made me feel like I was nothing.
I would highly recommend this place. My daughter got married there 2 months ago, and I was very impressed with this place and the people who run it. She was assigned a wedding coordinator for the day, and she made sure everything was perfect. Edna was wonderful to work with. As the mother of the bride, I thought I would be running around like a chicken without a head on the actual wedding day. Instead, as I was told, I just showed up an hour prior to the wedding, and Edna did the rest. From the wedding march, to keeping the guests where they needed to be, the cutting of the cake, to the last detail of the night, she handled it ALL. She was very professional and nice to work with. The ONLY complaint I have about Granberry Hills, is the florist (Tuscan Rose) they have on their vendor list and referred. The florist service was horrible and after the wedding when I called Granberry Hills to suggest they not refer them to anyone in the future, they didn't really follow up with that. If they did, we never received a call informing us of the update. But again, that is my only complaint about this venue. The guests loved the venue and the wedding, and are still talking about how beautiful it was. The photos on their website don't really do it justice. It needs to be seen in person.

My experience at Granberry was FANTASTIC! When I first saw Granberry’s Gardenside I fell in love, it was everything that I wanted. It was just utterly beautiful and offered a lot of space so my guests wouldn’t feel confined. Throughout the wedding planning process I called often to ask a variety of questions and the staff was so very pleasant to work with, they always made me feel important. The day of the wedding it rained, but our coordinators (Mercedes and Theresa) did not miss a beat. They were totally awesome and kept things running smoothly. They made sure that me and my groom did not feel stressed and enjoyed ourselves. My event at Granberry was extremely memorable and I would recommend it to anyone getting married. Y’all are great; thank you for everything, the night was truly special, I couldn’t be happier.

My experience from the beginning was so organized and well coordinated. The staff at Granberry are very helpful and have great suggestions. All their experience gave me the wedding I had always dreamed of. The list of caterers are wonderful. Granberry gives you the most wonderful experience for a unbelievable price. My husband and I are very happy and will recommend Granberry to anyone we know that is getting married.

I want to say what a wonderful job the staff of Granberry did to make my daughter's wedding such a wonderfully happy occassion. There were many compliments directed to the facility as well as the caterers. Kosha and Sandrine were wonderful! I couldn't have asked for better coordinator's for my girl!

It's been over a year now since our wedding, and we are still getting compliments! Granberry Hills is the complete package to fulfill all your wedding dreams! Between the beautiful location and the customer service, there were absolutely no doubts about having our wedding at this facility.
The setting at Granberry Hills can only be described as gorgeous! the attention to detail is evident everywhere you look and in everything they do. It's the little things that add up and set them head and shoulders above the rest. Granberry is the place where dream weddings become a reality.
But Granberry isn't just a beautiful setting. The Granberry staff excels at providing first class wedding services. The staff's professionalism was beyond compare. Our perfect wedding could not have happened had it not been for their talents, skills, and helping hands.
I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. I will always remember how they helped make our wedding so special, so beautiful, so classy, and such a moment in time to remember always.
I will be singing their praises to every bride's listening ear for years to come!

When we first signed a contract with them to hold our wedding and reception there we were relieved that we found a place as pretty and inexpensive that we could have everything at one place. But then we discovered that there is a total disconnect between the staff and Bob, the owner. On multiple occassions we were told something would be a certain way by his staff only to be told something different by someone else. We were also told that certain things would be included in the cost that ultimately were added onto the bill. Those issues can be dealt with by being extremely cafeful with them. If they provide you a price, get it in writing. If you add something you want them to do, get it in writing.
If that had been the only problem I would recommend them, but advise caution. However, that was just the start. Our biggest problem is that they are dishonest and kicked everyone out of the facility immediately at midnight. Many items were missing after the reception was over and people weren't allowed to look for them. They wouldn't even allow family members to collect things after midnight saying that they had to come back for things like the cake. When people went back the next day to collect the stuff it was no longer there. When asked about the missing items they at first said that they had no idea what happened to them, but when asked by other people they said that the family told them to throw it away (a total lie). It was reported that Bob, the owner, refused to do anything about it saying ""I don't want to get in the middle of this.""

I had a great time at Granberry Hills. Number one it's beautiful! Yes there is an eyesore at the end of the road, but it doesn't affect the actual wedding/reception site. The contract is very detailed and it is a little pricey, but to me it was worth it all. My sister got married there and they took such good care of her. My husband and I have talked about renewing our vows and Granberry is definately being considered as an potential location. Thank you for making my sister's day so special and providing such a great facility for all of our family and friends to enjoy!

Beautiful site, but first you have to pass the eyesore scenery up the unpaved, rough road. Management is poorly organized and needs much improvement. Booked in fall and assured then and again in January and again in May that road would be paved by summer, but it was not. It was worse by then than before. Construction was not completed on new site so this was an eyesore too. Coordinator was not informative or very personable and gave incorrect information in two-thirds of the instances. This did not come to light until two weeks before the wedding. When we confronted the owner, Robert Lowman, he was not receptive or very accommodating. He would not honor his word or the word of his coordinator. Make sure every little detail is in writing beforehand because this business is not good for their word alone and almost unyielding on the slightest change. Robert Bob has final say to his discretion no matter what you may be told by staff. He will tell you ""read the contract"", which has some gray area and found it to be open to interpretation. In which case, you will be guaranteed it is in Bob's favor no matter what. He pretends to care about your stress level but only to substantially increase it. I found him to be an arrogant, condescending, chauvinist. The ceremony music was not cued correctly, could barely be heard and the sound system, or lack of quality sound system, was very evident. No one knows anything about working it. There is a total lack of good, concise communication between staff and with customer and there are added charges left and right for items that are readily available at the site. I hesitate to recommend this place due to the experience we had and the lack of knowledge of some of the coordinators and the total lack of Bob's ability to be a people person.
