Like the other reviewer, I also had my email and Amazon acct. hacked. merchandise was also sent to Tony Dang Thanh- Elite Tailoring 7007 Bandera Rd. ste15 San Antonio, TX 78238. I would not ever do business with that establishment, and if they accept credit cards, DO NOT under any circumstance use one there. I just don't understand how this person continues to get away with what is a crime. I just wonder how many other people have fallen victim to this. This place should be shut down!

I am so sorry to see the reviews that have come in that are one star. I have been doing business with Elite ever since it opened last century. Can't remember exact date but Mary Pham was the owner then. I hear she is in Houston. Anyways, I have NEVER had any of the problems that some have had. I am not saying this did not happen, but I only can say that I have had great service. Yes, the language barrier can be challenging at times. All I can say is patience is what is needed when you want the best. I believe he is the best at what he does. I had a business that involved using props and so forth. I put together a design and gave it to him and told him I needed 150 copies. He took my design and made exactly what I needed and he did it on time. I have had numerous occasions when I needed alterations. All were done with triple stitching and were done on time.
I would give this business at least one try before you pass it up. Again, please be patient with the language barrier. He does understand, but speaking is hard for him.

I took a scarf to Elite Tailoring to be mended on Thursday. The man working there said that it would be ready on Sunday. I wasn't able to pick it up until Monday. When I got there he told me it wasn't ready yet, to come back tomorrow, so I returned the next day, which was now Tuesday, and it still wasn't ready, he said he needed ""one more day"", so I returned on Thursday, figuring by that time it would be finished.... Nope! I walked in with my receipt in hand and this time a woman was working who spoke no English at all. I gave her the receipt and she started looking for it and finally asked me to come behind the counter and look . I told her it was a scarf and made hand gestures of me wrapping something around my head and neck, she said , ""Ohhh"" and went to the back of the room and brought out my scarf still hanging on the hanger. I asked if I could see what had been done to it and she let me. He had done NOTHING at all to it. I was so upset that I asked for my money back. By that time the man returned to the shop and made the excuse that he was so busy and that's why he hadn't worked on it. I asked him why he didn't just explain that to me in the beginning so that I wouldn't have to drive over there almost everyday. I would have gladly waited to pick it up until he had it finished, that's just a waste of gas. He offered to mend it right then and there, but I had enough of him and his excuses. Maybe others have had good experiences with this place, but I will never go back or recommend anyone to a place that is so unprofessional! I will give it one star and that is only because they were very kind, and returned my money without hesitation.

My son who is in the military was getting ready to leave out of state and needed the name tags sewn on some new shirts. I had planned on doing it, only my sewing machine broke. I started searching the web around 7:30 p.m. and found Elite Tailoring on the Citysearch site. To my amazement they were still open. At 8:15 p.m. same night I took his shirts to their store and he had them sewn, pressed, and ready for me to pick up at 9:00 p.m.! They did a fabulous job and to say I was relieved is an understatement. Prices were very reasonable, especially for me getting them done virtually on the spot. I recommend them highly!

I recently took my two tops and one dress to Elite Tailoring (now called Tailorina) after seeing two good reviews here, but I was very unsatisfied with the results. (Then I found out the other most recent reviewer experienced the same problem)
First of all, Tony is hard to communicate since he almost does not speak English (if you speak Vietnamese, you are in luck!)
Second, the job was not done in a timely fashion. I was told to go back to pick my clothes up in a week, I went back, but the clothes were not done so I was told to go back next week. 7 more days later I went back to the store and guess what, my clothes were not even been touched still! I
I was being reassured 4 times that my clothes would be done next week and actually went over tried to pick them up 4 times but came out empty handed. I finally got a phone call from him after 3 months asking me to pick my clothes up.
DO NOT EVER PAY FOR YOUR ITEMS UPFRONT! Since he sometimes send the items out to get the job done, once you pay, you cannot get your items back nor the money back!!!
I will NOT go back

I spend far to much on clothing and love things to fit right. I bring all my clothes to Elite Tailoring and have for 2 years now. The service is great those guys are the best. The work is impressive, and quick. So far there is nothing they have not been able to do for me, and I require a lot. I did notice one other review that read about a cute guy. That would be Chris and I saw him first ;) These are the old fashioned customer centered businesses that are not around any more. I can guarantee that they will go far out of their way to make customers happy. One thing to note. If you call and have a hard time understanding the guy on the phone just ask for Chris. He even takes emails for clothing questions or your occasional fashion tips. I think it's @ elitetailoring@hotmail If youre a guy that needs some help picking out a suit or just getting dressed this man will give you the light in your dark closet. I send all my troubled boys to him. Enjoy
