He found that the company who cut the progressive lenses had not made an error, and he said he would get new lenses and cut them himself. He did exactly as he promised and I am very happy with my new glasses. I have used him in the past and have always been 100% satisfied. If you are looking for personalized care and attention to detail as you select your eyeware, definitely go to David Sanchez and wife Helen at Creative Optical. I had been getting my glasses at a franchise business near my home, each time hoping someone knowledgeable there could help me pick out flattering frames. I would get "OK" glasses that would get the job done. I asked my friend (whose glasses are always a part of her fashion) where she got hers, and she recommended Creative Optical. Within a minute of working with David and Helen, I knew I would be getting glasses that I would want to wear. The owners are very good at determining the right look for a customer's face shape and eyes. Upon their recommendation, I tried the no-glare lenses, and I can strongly endorse this feature. The most telling evidence of my satisfaction is that I ordered two pairs instead of one, knowing that I would enjoy having a choice of looks that were both flattering. I have never done this before--had a reason to go on record to praise an optician--an outstanding optician David Sanchez, co-owner of Creative Optical. His beautiful better half, and eye ware consultant, Helen is also a co-owner

In 1993, we returned to San Antonio from Germany. I began wearing progressives. Then, I used large volume, mass marketing eye glass places. Then I found an eye glass dealer that was definitely a cut above. I thought I had the best glasses that money could buy. I was wrong. Following my eye examine with a prominent San Antonio Ophthalmologist, Dr. Donald Adams, he mentioned that David Sanchez did quality work. He I decided to give him a try. The short of it is that he is the best optician that I have ever used. Previous eye glass places, missed slightly the vision point where the distance parameter should be set in relation to where the moderate to close range takes hold. If that point is not exactly in the right place, it is particularly annoying, especially when driving.

If that demarcation point is off even slightly, then when driving you have to tilt your head up or down to bring in the distance vision properly. David absolutely nailed it! Not only that, David is up on the latest and greatest frames, lenses, coatings and so on. I bought the VariLux Physio 360 transitions with the Crizal anti-reflective coating. These are absolutely the best lenses I have ever owned. The Silhoutte frames are the lightest, most comfortable frames I have ever experienced. David is also the best at adjusting the frames so they are comfortable, and the optical praxis is right on. No more pinched ears and nose. I was amazed to discover that David cuts the lenses, rather than having them done by the manufacturer. For customer feedback, I recommend that people spend a little extra and get the Crizal AR and transition lenses. I really like the Physio. I would also spend a little extra for the 360. I notice that the 360 gives better clarity especially when working at the computer or watching TV. For example, when watching TV, the scrolling print at the bottom of the screen is clearer with the 360. I realize that all thest add ons cost a little more, but they are worth it. Each add on slightly improves the clarity, and the cumulative effect is much better vision.

I am most pleased to recommend both Dr. Donald Adams and David Sanchez. They are the best in their professions. As a person of religious faith, I have always believed we should be just as adamant in our efforts to praise people for their good work as we are to criticize people when they fall short.
