The food was worst than microwave dinner. It was cold, no taste and discusting..I had to return it twice before I said NEVERMIND,,,They gave me trouble about returning my money. I go to the real Milanos on Wurzbach all the time, and I now know that they are two different owners, that you GOD! They suck on Bandera, I willl never return there again! But if you want great italian food, go to Milanos on Wurzbach at Locke Hill Selma!
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It was close to my particular home, so that was already a plus. However, the actual dining experience was a pleasure. My b/f and I read the reviews about this place. 2 good out of 3. Makes me wonder if the bad one was because they were rude customers. Anyhow, the waiter was pleasant and prompt with everything. He was polite and very attentive to our wants. He suggested his favorite and gave reviews on the dishes we actually did choose. I had the Chicken canalonni (spelling) and it was WONDERFUL. Also, the ambiance of the inside was very pleasant. Clean, sophisticated and romantic. Very tastefully decorated. I was highly impressed with it. The food, from bread, to appetizer to entree' was magnificent. The prices were also very reasonable; comparable to Macaroni grill; however, the quality of food is better here. All in all, I give it 2 thumbs up. It WILL be going into to my recommendation list and my favorites to dine. So please, don't rely on the one negative review - give it a chance.(Pardon all spelling mistakes)

The service was horrible. We had a waiter who had an awful attitude, he was rude, wouldn't let us enjoy our meal without making comments about people from our area of town. At the end of the meal he came to apologize with cake saying this was a token to thank us for being good sports. It wasn't a cake but rather coffee grounds formed to look like a cake with whiped cream on it. We took a bite as our waiter and the cook laughed. When we asked to speak to the manager we were told by the manager this waiter was just playing and he does this all the time. Hopefully you will avoid Cafe Milano and they will go out of business soon.
