It was my first time there. I was celebrating my birthday and all night long we were ordering the same drinks over and over. The server brings us two drinks that no one is drinking and refuses to take them back. She just assumes that there is no way she could have made the mistake and heard the wrong thing over the loud music I guess. Then she just never returned to take our orders. We also bought three bottled waters toward the end of the night and they didn't let us take them with us. They were never opened.

The only time I've been there was pretty AWESOME...it reminded me of OLYS' a place I first visited in September of 1997. That place obiviously doesn't exsists, so here is where BOGEYS' comes in. This is a place where the older crowd can enjoy, where the younger and wild crowd will not show up not their kind of music. Bogeys is relaxing, the music is GREAT...and if Sam, Joe and J.R. are still running it...it's even better. Hey guys, just saying the truth..you are definitely fun to be around with. I want to congragulate you for doing a great job. Though like I mentioned, I've been there just once, I really liked it....keep up the good work.
No lie, BOGEYS' is nice. More Power to you!

I was first introduced to Bogeys 13 years ago('95). I returned in 2008 and noticed a drastic change..It definitely is not the same...When I requested a song it was played at closing or not at all..I really became frustrated with Bogeys when on several occasions, after returning from the dance floor i found my drink had been picked up by the wait staff at half glass. I guess that is one way of making $$$$$. The lady's restroom is filthy and stinks horribly, An attendant was there for a short time, but again I became frustrated when she handed to me what appeared to be a full pack of gum, but turned out to be only half a pack, another way to make $$$$. The location is close to loop 410 and gives the impression that my car could be at risk for theft. Upon entering the establishment the doorman requests that we watch our step which is good because the flooring is unstable and could cause a danger to any of the patrons. The valet attendants park the cars like sardines, which leaves little room for opening doors and could cause someone to dent, scratch or much worse break a mirror off. I will not go back there, I deserve better for the price, overall appearance and my overall nightly enjoyment.

This club used to be good.....now it's just another club on the way down. Very displeased with the atmosphere, Security...Ha! Ha! LOL! Told me to ""stop blocking walk thru area"".....place was almost empty. I would rather not go out then to feel tense, uncomfortable, and miserable. Later

I'm amazed the last reviewer is taken so much by this club. Most of us that are in the know about this nightclub are very aware that this used to be a nice bar. But that was when J.R. the ex-owner was running the joint. The problem is that J.R is gone and his partner Sam is now the sole owner which has turned into a major problem for this establishment. The club lost something special that actually made this club tick and gave it a touch of class. JR, DJ George Bratton and the original wait and bartending staff were the true class acts at this establishment.
Yes the club has still got a little kick left in it, like on Saturdays, but every other night is dead as a door nail. Some people do continue to patronize this club, But let?s be real, it?s never going to be what it used to be. The first few years when J.R. owned the club it had a line of patrons standing around the building. But this club no longer has the same appeal or ambiance it once did. All you have now are memories, ask any of the original patrons and they will say the same thing, it simply does not feel like it once did. The new DJ is boring and plays the same music all the time. The staff walk?s around almost like zombies who are forced to work at this club because they have no other choice. The owner is always walking bragging to anyone who will listen, that he own's the club, like it?s a symbol he should be proud of, Jesus what a joke this dude is. Last time I was there I felt so uncomfortable. I?m 30 and it still felt like I did not fit in. It looks like 60 and up is the majority at this club now. Many people who were regulars when it opened do not hang here anymore after J.R left. So I have to admit that maybe we were just fans of the ex owner and the old Bogeys and this is definitely
not the club we once new and loved.

I have gone to Bogey's on severa occasions. I had the time of my life. The club is sturctures for the older crowd. Sure the place is a little small, but when you are with friends and having a good time, you don't really pay attention. The parking is not all valet parking, just as in a lot of clubs there is a samll area for valet. With a dress code implaced it gives it a touch of class. If you want to relax and let loose, go somewhere else. On the few occasions that I have gone there, my husband and I had a great time and were not bothered with all these younger people out getting drunk and causing trouble. every bar is smokey, so I can not really complain about the smoke. For the other person who gave a bad rating for the smoke, please let me know where there is a smoke free bar and I will also go there because I do not like the smoke either. I have to cope with it when I am at a bar because there are no smoke free bars.

was one of the early club goers in it's inception in 2002.. I had fond memories of the club back then. seeing the crowd dancing to a mix of Tejano and R&B was great. Drinks were reasonably priced back, meeting friends and people seemed easy, I had the time of my life. l used to look forward to Sat. to strut my stuff..... I don't know what happened but It's not the same as it used to be.. i guess like all starting companies they give a lot in the beginning but once they start to make some money a little greed starts to kick in, everything went up, drinks, parking next to valero used to be free, valet was a joke.
The patrons who used to go aren't found anymore, last I heard Thur's are now dead.
they have the right concept but the crowd grew bigger than the club...when they played Tejano music half the club would try to dance but found it difficult cuz of the dance floor is small.
if they moved to a larger facility it would really be fun again...
dress code is appropriate but they over did it..now if the club was located toward the stone oak area...ok I would understand, but thier current location is overated.. hopefully they will bring back the good times when they catered to the public....
