Boardwalk Real Property Management

They manage a property on my street and refuse to maintain it. I have notified them 3 times and it's still a dump. I would especially like to mention that Megan the assistant I spoke to last was extremely rude and unprofessional. She said I dont need to keep calling and proceeded to talk over me and refused to let me speak to her boss. There is trash and their sign isn't even in the ground. I think someone came and propped against a tree. They keep junky houses and hire junky people like Megan.

***update, the Marshall called and said the property manager was suppose to cut the grass Thursday and its Friday and still not cut. I called Dobbs at the office and explained how Megan spoke to me the other day. He didnt really care and had the same I dont care attitude. I wouldn't rent from them...imagine when your ac goes out. Anyway he said they are having people move in today so he plans on having the grass cut today. I wonder what gems they found to rent that dump.

They really go the extra mile! Great customer service and great values as a company. They always treat me well be it by phone or in person. Happy to be working with them.

I noticed all the negative reviews of Boardwalk have been deleted. BW treats people like dogs the moment they walk in. Hateful on the phone. Seem bothered when you call. Place was filthy when I move in with overgrown lawn. Stated carpet was new but there only small patches replaced. So many things broken in home.

After reading these reviews I was excited to get Boardwalk Real Property to manage my rental property. They've been a HUGE disappointment from day one. I am pretty aggressive when it comes to getting my property on the market. When I asked them how long it would take to get it on the market, they said a week from the time I pay the $200 reserve. I rushed to get them the money and it took them about 3 weeks to get my property on the market. When asked why it took so long, they would come up with excuse after excuse. I had to keep calling them to make them move more tothe speed that was promised. Then when the property was finally rented, they didn't bother to tell me when. All I knew was that it was close to being rented and that paperwork was pending. There was no official notification given to me about the rental of my property.



To this point, I am still having to continuously remind them of things and I am still having to stay on top of them for everything! What's the point of having them around when I have to remind them of how to do their job. I'll definitely be moving to another property management company once our agreement is over.

Boardwalk has truly made my rental experience great...I can't believe the quality of service provided. Compared to the last company I dealt with, this is a breath of fresh air!

I appreciate the continued efforts they have given to my property. The property management package that I have with Boardwalk is very extensive and is just what I need for my rental property. Although it it is not vacant very often, when it is, they do a great job of marketing and the property gets tenants back in the house as soon as possible. There was a recent situation with my hot water heater and when I notified boardwalk they had someone over to deal with it very quickly. I was without hot water for a very short time before they had the unit replaced. I was glad they were so helpful and speedy about the repair.

I would have liked to get more of my deposit back, however I understood why I didn't because they had to re-paint almost every room in the house, etc. However, throughout the time that I lived in the house, they were very responsive to my needs and were very easy going when it came to letting me paint, change some of the landscaping in the backyard, etc. If I move back to the area I will turn to Boardwalk first to see if they have any homes available.
