I like the food...hate the service...

Live the food but if seems to me that they think they're doing me a favor by serving me.

What a downfall...

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in San Antonio. That was months ago when food was good and waiters friendly. Over the past few months I guess success made them feel they could ""dish"" anything out and you see waiters going around with a sour face as if they were doing you a favor, the sushi that used to be great is now only mainly rice with cream cheese and the food in general similar to what you get frozen from any Chinese grocery store. We wanted to give them another chance and today on top of the usual mediocre service and food they actually charged us a kids meal and 10% gratuity on the total bill because we had a 6th guest: a 2 year old who didn't eat anything and sat on his parents lap all the time. The kids bill cost more than any of the adults! Sadly will not be going back.

Is there something worse than BAD???

I wish I would have read these reviews before my family and I went there tonight. I was actually looking forward to the fortune cookie at the end of the dinner so that I could eat something good...and wouldn't you know was bad too. This was the first fortune cooke I haven't finished eating at a restaurant. I have never written a review for anything, but I can't know what I know, and not save others wasting their time and money on this buffet. Examples: Dumplings (my favorite thing) were actually cold. The crab ragoons were runny (cream cheese inside), nice salad bar, but no lettace, both my kids said the brownies and chocolate pudding was grose...9 and 13 yrs. old, and didn't finish their brownies and pudding???, spring rolls...nothing in them. I'm not saying that they weren't putting enough in them, I'm saying NOTHING at all was in them. They were rolled up wrappers...empty! The egg rolls were dry and bland, several other foods were cold. I kept going back to find something else that was edible, but never found anything. $40.00 later, and I couldn't even eat the fortune cookie. There are many other buffets close to this one, China Harbor on Walzem, China Sea off Thousand Oaks, Khangis Kahn on Walzem (small, but been around forever and really good)...Fortune Cookie...I can think of a thousand things I'd rather spend my time and money on than this. In a nut shell...don't go!

This is by far the best Chinese Buffet in San Antonio, and I've been to 'em all. The flavors are wonderful. I frequent this restaurant at least once every week, and am always satisfied with the quality of the food.

Above & Beyond Exceptional

I had a fabulous experience at this restaurant... The food is absolutely delicious... I highly recommend it!
