I have taken both my Pitbull, Bonita and Chihuahua, Lola to Babcock North Veterinary and they did very well with Bonita and Lola. Lola needed updated vaccines and grooming and I was very satisfied on how they handled my fur babies and followed up with me to check on them. I highly recommended Dr. Guerra for all your fur baby needs.

There was one rep that made all the difference! Her name is Cathy and she was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Her professionalism is the sole reason I will go back to give this place another shot. The vet tech was not all that friendly, but began to ""warm up"" to me at the end of my dogs v…

This was the third groomer I tried in San Antonio for my Yorkie, and FIANLLY I found a GOOD one. Barbara was there herself to greet me. She talked with me at leangth about my dog's skin condition, which she spoke very intelligently about and made some recomendations for me. Very Helpful, and …
I've brought our sick dog in twice and have worked with both Dr. Koffman and Dr. Bunting. Both were just fantastic and went beyond my expectations. The even followed up a few days later to see how our dog was doing. They both took time in explaining everything to me in detail which I thought w…
Homey Hounds is awesome! I can't believe I didn't start using them years ago! So much money wasted on kenneling!
Very professional at what they do. I'm glad I choose them on taking care of my little guys they were on time and very cheap thanks Critter Cab I will be using y'all again soon!
We were extremely pleased with every aspect. Thank you! Dr. Miller was very thorough and gentle. Katie and Austin were also wonderful assistants. Both were cheerful and sweet to my dog!
I always feel confident when I drop off my pet for his blood pressure and heart rate evaluation. He is nervous when I drop him off in the morning but is always content and relaxed when I pick him up in the afternoon.
Cookie was well taken care of and everything possible was done to make sure she was healthy and comfortable. Everyone there was a great asset . Thank you for the care that you provide.
I rushed my 11 yr old chihuahua to this 24 hr animal hospital when he began struggling to breathe. The doctor took x-rays and blood and ultimately diagnosed him with heart failure. The staff was friendly and helpful and I felt that the vet had great bedside manner and professionalism. The cost of care was affordable and the follow up visits are free. The only complaint that i have is the wait time to be seen. We waited in the exam room for 30 min each visit before we were seen by a tech.I will continue to take my dogs here and would recommend it to others.
This vet sent my dog home after major surgery , with no pain meds !!! Our dog had cancer vet had no idea what he was doing! Then at the last we had to put him to sleep and our dog took about 3 minutes to die , he was yelping and crying the whole time , blotched the hell out of putting him to sleep ! I hope the vet reads this, wonder if he remembers Kramer?? I had to go to the doctor this was so traumatizing !! Don't use this place!!!
We are just so broken up and I can't seem to explain so I asked are dear friend Tinker Mass who was with us to explain what happened. Please share this so no one has to go through this again.Damn you!!!! Bakers Animal HospitalWe arrived and there were 2 people in the waiting area. Victor was checking in and some 15 minutes later there were 6 people in line. When he finished paying and came to sit down we waited another 15 minutes to be called back. After more waiting for someone to come and asset them they took Hayward to the back to place an "IV" into him which I immediately thought was not going to be easy as they told the tech he had stopped eating 2 days prior and had lost a lot of weight. Even I knew from looking at him that his veins would be difficult to find, but the young tech made it sound so easy and peaceful. But it was anything but that...after some 20 minutes or so I heard a dog barking and Victor said "that's my boy, that's Hayward. I know his bark." JD went to the door that had been left open, stood in the hallway for a moment and headed to the back to find Hayward. Victor waited 30 seconds and followed him to the back of the facility. I could clearly hear the dog barking and he sounded as though he was in agony. Finally, JD came into the operatory holding Hayward and put him onto the metal table. The dog cried as he laid him down. The vet searched for the IV and started to inject the 1st med which had been explained as the "sedative." Hayward started to bark again in discomfort! The vet apologized and said," It didn't go through." And she started to examine the IV then she asked for the 2nd syringe which was supposed to be the "push" to flush the med through but why would she do that if the first clearly didn't go through. The dog whimpered again. Mind you this is in front of the 2 people who have cared for this animal even when they were told it would never walk again and nursed it back to life and to a good 10 more years of life- no thanks to the naysayers!!! And who have come there to say that good-byes and were led to believe this was going to go down very differently!!!Now they are watching their 18 yr old dog being basically tortured before being put down!! Good Gravy!!!The vet finally called it and said they would have to move the dog AGAIN to back of the facility because they were going to have to use gas and none of the rooms were equipped with it. Victor got angry and said , "No we're NOT moving him AGAIN . You are TORTURING him- get this done now! We 're NOT WAITING FOR ANOTHER ROOM!" The vet said that they were going to move him to the back not to another room because the gas was only available in the back. So ONCE AGAIN, JD picked Hayward up and he whimpered again - God my heart was sick watching the abomination !!!!They finally get to the back and put him on "gas" and he seems settled and once again they try to find the vein but the vet has called someone else to try and now it's the 3rd time and this is to empty the syringe that has the drug that will put him down... AND he can't get it again so NOW he calls for a tourniquet. They bring it, he finds the vein after more difficulty and finally their poor Hayward is at peace! JD was in a puddle - I was so mad I had to leave and I went to get the car. It was not my animal but my heart was sick at having to watch my friends go through this horrific ordeal- HEY BECKER ANIMAL HOSPITAL - THAT IS WHY I DON'T, NOR WILL I EVERTAKE MY PET TO YOU! NOT EVEN MY PET ROCK! Just so you know!
Family Pet Hospital is simply amazing. From the staff up front to the staff that goes unseen, there is nothing but smiles and carelessness. I boarded my dog there with a few extra play times purchased for their "decked out" backyard and pool! I was told and even saw a few pictures of my little one having such a blast. Not only did he have fun, their grooming services were phenomenal- it smelled and looked like I got a new pup! I, without a doubt, recommend Family Pet Hospital of Stone Oak.
