Excellent services and price's good and food is ok. Try mofongo con pernil or mofongo con carne frita.
1. La Marginal
The waiter was really nice and the restaurant stayed open after hours to feed me and my husband. The live music was great and set the mood. I loved it so much I have told all my friends about it. The food was cooked perfectly and very tasty.
went here with a friend and now I stop by every chance I get. I always get the buffet they have going on from 11 to 3 pm and even if it's the same, I could never get tired of it! ^_^ love this food!

From Business: Founded in 1978, we have been fire-roasting our famous salsa and mixing our legendary margaritas for 35 years, serving an average of 450 guests daily—that’s right, 6,000 (or more) happy diners enjoy the restaurant each week. That’s an amazing feat for a San Antonio Mexican restaurant that started as little more than a taco…
Each year my BFFs come here, drink spectacular margaritas on the patio, order the specials and celebrate our lives and loves in San Antonio. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
I just LOVE this restaurant! They have some of the best Mexican food and watch out for their margaritas!!!! Great atmosphere and some of the best wait staff to include...Rosie, Janie, Virginia, and Richard, just to name a few. If you have never been here....you must go!!!!!
This is always where I take company when they come in town! The food is some of the best in a town & the margaritas are awesome. I have no idea why there are bad reviews, except it seems that parents want to have a meal & a baby sitter.
7. La Madeleine
We have been to the Broadway location several times and will contine to dine there. The atmosphere is great, especially by the windows or the fireplace on a chilly day. I absolutely love the tomoato basil soup and the Mediterranean Pasta. The desserts and lattes are also wonderful for a fun trea…

9. La Fiesta
I live just down the street. Walmart has more inventory and cheaper prices, but it takes less time to go to La Fiesta. They have some decent deals, but prices and selection are very limited. However, I must comment that when I come into the store I am greeted with a smile and treated very wel…
I love this place. After a visit to the Twig bookstore at the Pearl, we walked across the parking lot and ate at this tasty place. No heavy enchalada plates here. Its all mexican ""street food"" and its all delicious. Since we had never been here before we relied on our waitress to make suggesti…
I come here for breakfast tacos. They usually take like 10 mins in the drive thru which I dont mind because food is usually hot and fresh. But today they had me wait at least 30mins, I drove up to go inside just for the lady to tell me the card machine is broken but that my order has been ready. I just dont understand why no one would let me know instead of wasting my time. I really like their food but its not worth waiting that long just for 4 tacos.
Our Experience was very nice--the staff was casual and although we were introduced to the Barn Door as primarily a Steak restaurant--their SEAFOOD is fantastic!!!
I hear so many great things about this place. I don't see why. It's crowded during lunch. It seems greasy and cramped.Food was average. Prices average. Service was forgettable.I'm in no hurry to go back.
linda martinez (You) reviewed in the last weekQuality Poor to fair Appeal Poor to fair Service Poor to fair Its sad to say, this was a bad choice we made for our cake and food tasting!! I showed up for a scheduled appontment, not only was Blanca running extremely late, she forgot what food we wanted. She had 2 other people waiting for cake tasting. They made a few bad comments about her. They mentioned getting their money back due to her being so disorganized!! That was a red flag . She has a great attitude just not prepared for what walks in her door. I decided to go elsewhere. I went to a decorating co. on west ave. Mr Eric was so professional and prepared for my business. Come to find out, He rents to Blancas catering. (she lied about her owning all her decorations) Blanca is a very nice lady, that doesnt cut it!!! I wasnt impressed with her presentation or cordination. One of my co_workers used her last year, After hearing her last results im glad I didnt hire her!!!
I enjoyed a breakfast today of huevos rancheros & coffee for $3.99, but it was too much food! It was very tasty! This was their 2nd day of business & the staff did very well. I think next time I'll try their pineapple/kale/ginger health juice!
Never in my whole life when i have gone out to eat did i ever have a roach come out.I reached for the sugarcatty and a little roach came out.I got off my seat when and told the manger and she apologized and i left while they continued to serve food. This place should be shut down and health inspectors need to investigate.
Amazing service they brought everything I needed and the good was amazing they will be getting business from me again
Ohhh my god this place is awesome my parents brought me here and I felt the kindness towards the waitresses, love it I brought my mom law she loved it,and my two babies,so if u got time,go back that's what I say..
This is THE very best Madre y Padre Mexican Food Restaurant of San Antonio. True, if you want good food and all the colorful pottery, birds squawking in your ears and a bunch of yankee gringas telling you how to order good food on the riverwalk, go there. But, if you want GREAT food at a nice price, come here. Tell Oscar Sr. and Mama Dora the Pickett s sent you!!
