Japhet presents themselves as a luxury builder, but don't be deceived they are greedy and cheap at best. Poor quality work by contractors. Sup was slow to respond to concerns if he even bothered to respond. They could not complete our home in 16 months we worked with them and we had to walk away losing our deposit.
We have been trying to get payment for services for 9 months. This company avoids phone calls and will not let you speak to the owner. We have never been paid for the hauls we did for the company.
ON 5 MAY 2015, WE SIGNED A CONTRACT TO INSTALL 68 PIERS AND PAID FOR 68 PIERS, $58,403. THE WARRANTY DATED, 11 AUGUST 2015, STATED ONLY 64 PIERS WERE INSTALLED. I BELIEVE WE ARE DUE A REFUND OF $3,435 ($858 TIMES 4 PIERS). WE NEVER HAVE RECEIVED A REFUND AND A LETTER EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENCE IN THE NUMBER OF PIERS. TO DATE WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND, APRIL 2017. AS OF 5 JUNE 2017, WE HAVE RECEIVED A SUBCONTRACTOR'S REPORT THAT WE GOT 68 PIERS BUT STILL HAVE THEIR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER'S REPORT THAT WE GOT ONLY 64 PIERS. ALSO SAW A LOWER FINAL PRICE BUT NEVER GOT A COPY OF IT TO DATE. NO EFFORT HAS BEEN MADE BY THE COMPANY TO RESOLVE THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER'S REPORT ABOUT ONLY 64 PIERS OR A REFUND. THEY JUST KEPT THE WHOLE CONTRACTED AMOUNT. I STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY PIERS WE GOT. THEY CLAIM MY EMAILS GO TO THEIR SPAM BOX.
Want to thank Tom Mitchell for going the extra mile and getting me into an awesome appointment. He was diligent and really made this an easy process. He's a great locator and an awesome guy. Thanks again Tom.
Arch did my roof job in September20016 but didn't pay the Mc Coys material bill until January 2nd. MC Coys put a materials Lien on my house. Beware he doesn't return phone calls and he will leave you hanging. Doesn't follow through with anything he tells you, now I have a half finished job which I will have to hire another contractor
worst homebuilder in the area,do not buy his homes. they are cheaply built with most material from home depot. But most of all does not stand by his warranty. Everthing that goes wrong he states is out of warranty. And most of all don;t deal with his wife Betty because she is all about money. I repeat do not buy his homes
Hired in 2015 to do pool and deck cement overlay. Started cracking and fading quickly. Chunks of it are falling off now. Messy and unprofessional. Steer clear so that you are not taken advantage of.
Avoid buying a D.R. Horton home in the Republic Oak Subdivision. Stay away from their Red Tag Event, especially address 4414 Territory San Antonio Texas 78222. The home was inspected by a licensed home inspector and the roof was installed incorrectly, the bricks were laid unevenly, and the depths of the bricks were different sizes. The Sales Rep stated “Home Inspection Reports are subject to interpretation of code. “ From my last conversation with the Sales Rep, the Sales Rep still has not passed the inspection report to the Superintendent of the Republic Oak Subdivision.
