They DESTROYED a nice whool suit and I spend weeks trying to get reimbursed only to find the owner hiding behind his incompetent employees. Dominion residents: Avoid it! I started going to Five Star on NW Military Highway about 2 years ago and I love it. They are so friendly and customer focused. They actually get spots out, unlike other cleaners that I have tried. They also have a drive though, which is very convenient. GREAT place!

Norma the owner is great. She's super sweet and accomodating. I take all my suits, ties, and shirts to her and they come back immaculate. Been going to her for 11 years. Super customer service and great to have a neighborhood business instead of box store where your just a number. She'll remember your name each and every time, helps takes clothes out of car and into car. Where else does that happen?
There should be an option to choose a negative number to stars for businesses like this. I took my husbands dress shirts to be dry cleaned. The first time they returned them to me with broken and missing buttons, they said they'd fix it. Next time more broken and missing buttons along with a completely damaged shirt and a tie with a stain that I still had to pay for. When I went back to get refunded for the damaged shirt, they told me I had to go to another location to get the refund. I show up at the 13622 NW Military Hwy location, only to be treated with no respect. The owner stood there and looked me straight in the face after looking at the shirt and said there was no damage, I'm attaching pictures so you can see for yourselves. He refused to provide me with a refund for the damage and was very rude. I should have listened to the review I read of this place and never have given them my business. I told the owner I was submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and his response was that he was going to embarrass me. What kind of owner says that and acts that way.
The customer service of Linda and Brandie, in addition to the quality of the cleaning, is super. Both ladies are always friendly and helpful in helping the customers make the best cleaning choices for their items. Timely, great customer relations, great cleaning, "THE BEST".
TERRIBLE BUSINESS!! 1. ATTITUDES & CUSTOMER SERVICE. Rude! They almost scow at you when you come in, they don't greet you, there's sighing, mumbling, etc. Every time I've asked for alterations, it's a problem to do it, we don't do it like that, or the "No problem" followed by NOT accomplish anything stated.2. DRY CLEANING. Returned clean, however they used huge pins and poked holes in my silk shirt and my suit. 3. ALTERATIONSSo many mistakes on alterations! This place is very bad and expensive for what they barely do. This last trip I picked up pants that had a hole tore in it. They were asked to find a similar color match and sew in a patch. They did no clean up of the area and just sewed the patch in with fraying all around the edges. When I asked why they didn't clean it up and put in a proper stitch, I was told "How you going to do that?" multiple times. I explained that by trimming and folding the edges inward and applying a thick double stitch it would come out looking much like the seams that were already on the pants. Again told, "How you going to do that?" and "No one be able to do that." and other ridiculous statements. I explained that a seamstress would know and that I would be taking my business to a REAL seamstress!With so many options, this will be my last time at Youngs!!!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES TO PLACE,they are the worst in town. I left my clothes back in Jan 2016, went back to pick up one week later and it stunk like a dead animal. The excuse they gave us was that they washed it with old soap and the machine had broken but would re do our clothes. I went back in Feb 2016to pick up the clothes, they had still not cleaned it and it still smelled horrible. The manager told me to leave in garage and let it sit out. I said "NO," I want this clothes cleaned, I had spent about $75. I told them to give me my money back and he said they don't refund for work done. I said clothes is not cleaned . This was the last week in Feb. They said they would not reclean my clothes cuz they had done it 3 times. I told them they lied about cleaning it cuz I marked the clothes and it was in the same form when I got it back. They said they could not do anything cuz they only have a 1 month redo policy, I said you have been doing this over and over again. I told them I was leaving clothes and I would be back the following week, This was around the 1st or 2nd week in March 2016. When I went back there was a notice on the door that clothes had been taken to Hollywood cleaners, ordered by district attorney. There lease had been terminated for nonpayment. Our clothes has yet to be found. Our clothes was worth at least $1000 in total. Lesson learned don't trust these people they are worthless. Worst customer service, even if you have cell numbers for managers, they don't help. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
I've always had prompt, courteous service. While every now and then something is missed, such as a detail in sewing a hem (thus the 4 out of 5 stars), they always do an excellent job on my dress shirts and slacks.
