I like HEB, and ordinarily have a positive shopping experience no matter which store I go to here in San Antonio Texas. Tonight at around 9pm, I shopped at the 5910 Babcock Rd location. It's not very busy then, and with checkouts had only a few people in line if that. I chose the nearest check out (#1), because it's sole customer's purchase was completed. There were no customers behind me. The person at the register rang the items up with out greeting or eye contact. Still, no one was in line behind me. As she was finishing the bagging up my $30 or so of purchase, she launched into a negative lecture on my lack courtesy to others (?) because I had gone a bit over the 10 item limit sign that I had missed seeing. Still there was no one behind me. This critical "dressing-down" continued for a while with pauses that seemed to invite an argument. When she finished speaking to me, I responded with my only statement: that if I had upset her that much, I would cancel the sale. Still there was no one behind me at that checkout. I then related the incident to the Manager on Duty and left without the groceries I had intended to buy. Still there was no one in that checkout. I am a 60 yr/old disabled veteran with sight and other impairments, but fortunately, courtesy and common sense are not on my list of problems. From my days in the army, I couldn't help but wonder how much of this situation was a training issue?

Been going there for over five plus years and today one of the cashiers was very rude to me, if your gonna sell bad food at high prices then at least have employees that give good customer service ! I'm just making sure to tell everybody about this store and about this cashier . She ruined a ver…

Last week bought 2 gallons of Borden's milk. Talked to the manager the next week and he said to bring the milk back because he knew that he had some bad milk from Borden's. Bought back the 2 gallons and the receipt but he said he could not honor it because the gallon jugs were empty.

When I first walked into the store I only wanted to get a few things. I thought I was going to be standing in line forever because there were only two cashiers. The lines moved much faster than I thought and the girl was very nice and talked to me directly. I left the store with a lot more than …
It all starts when you pull up to the parking lot you couldn't feel safer with all the SAPD, Marshal, and Sheriff cars in the front patrolling ,you won't find no fat guy on a scooter watching your ride here!!! And you are greeted by alot of nice folk waiting in the front enjoying there cold beverages and smoking a blunt filled with the finest tabacco to open the door for you. The inside is like a mini Vegas with there top of the line arcade card and poker machines and a gourmet fried chicken and BBQ resturant toward the back of the store you cant go wrong! They have awesome prices and if you come often they let you walk out with your items for free and pay later now that's service, they even have the best gas prices in town when they do have some they may be out of super sometimes but the service never is so come down and see for yourself, the only thing that gets shot out front of this corner store are music videos at times so bring the family and you be telling your friends that you been there before the Travel Channel was because we all know that after being on the Travel Channel it goes straight down hill from there so go while there still awesome,it will be the spot to get your milk and eggs for years to come I guarantee
My family livea few minutes by this store. I love the location since its very close to home and a 1 stop shop. Heres my probem. My son and i were standing in check out and apperantly the young lady new my son from HS and she was not fond of my son. With that said she was not only RUDE to me but RUDE TO ME MULTIPLE TIME THAT I WENT THERE. I did complain to a JR manager who i hope spoke with this young lady about her attitude. This by the way still goes on even last week when i was there.I say these young ones need more training while checking out customers.just last week on Friday evening after work past 7pm it happened again with a new cashier. She kept trying to get her managers attention who promly came but just stood there acting like she was going to bag my items. I AM JUST OVER ALL SAD WITH THE WAY CERTAIN PEOPLE ACT!!! Jhasty
Best pharmacy around, for many reasons.1. You really get a true, small town pharmacy feel. the owner/pharmacist knows you by name and show genuine care and concern. its not like the bigger name pharmacies that feel rushed and impersonal, its "your" pharmacy.2. Fast, Fast, Fast. usually our medicine is ready by the time we drive there from the doctor (who is right down the road), or withing a few minutes. 3. Helpful. Its not just "here you are, take 2 a day", he makes sure you know what you are taking, why you need it, and how it works. Even for otc medicine, he will take the time to find them, explain them, and help you pick what is right for you.All in all, this pharmacy is a great addition to the area, and our go-to place for prescriptions, otc medicine, and quick groceries and snacks.
I went here with friends from work during our lunch break. The staff is very friendly and appeared genuinely concerned that we enjoyed or visit.I liked the variety of hot dogs available and I especially liked the condiment bar and all the different types of mustards. There’s not a lot of seating inside but we got there early, 11:15, and there was no problem finding a place to sit. I’m not sure if they have a crowding problem or not. It was not crowded by the time we left. (11:45)My only complaint is the limited amount of parking.
Just had lunch at Kings Ct. and it was great! The price is right and the portions large. The fat boy weiner is truly huge! I had The Alamo dog and hand cut fries and it was very tasty. Another plus is that they have such a wide selection of toppings...and they don't charge extra for them. I was able to load up my dog with jalapenos, relish, onions and my choice of about 15 mustards, without incurring an additional charge. I will definitely be back to try out a few more dogs.

This is my go to grocery store. I feel so happy when I walk in. Everything is always cleans and organized. The employees are very respectful and incredibly helpful and friendly. Their vitamin section employees know their stuff!!! Many have taken their time to genuinely educate me and cheerfully and knowledgeably answer my million questions. I love shopping here.
Richard and his team at Pride Floors & Construction transformed the look of my home and I couldn't be happier! They remodeled the kitchen and installed the most beautiful hardwood floors I have ever seen. The entire process was professional from start to finish. I would recommend Pride Floors to anyone wishing to beautify their home!
This is the best store in San Antonio. From Cleanliness to friendliness, nothing can compare! Yes this store stays busy unless you wish to shop at 6am when very few are there! The store remains busy as a testimony to it's management from the store to the Meat market to the Pharmacy, this team is what professionalism really means!
