I like HEB, and ordinarily have a positive shopping experience no matter which store I go to here in San Antonio Texas. Tonight at around 9pm, I shopped at the 5910 Babcock Rd location. It's not very busy then, and with checkouts had only a few people in line if that. I chose the nearest check out (#1), because it's sole customer's purchase was completed. There were no customers behind me. The person at the register rang the items up with out greeting or eye contact. Still, no one was in line behind me. As she was finishing the bagging up my $30 or so of purchase, she launched into a negative lecture on my lack courtesy to others (?) because I had gone a bit over the 10 item limit sign that I had missed seeing. Still there was no one behind me. This critical "dressing-down" continued for a while with pauses that seemed to invite an argument. When she finished speaking to me, I responded with my only statement: that if I had upset her that much, I would cancel the sale. Still there was no one behind me at that checkout. I then related the incident to the Manager on Duty and left without the groceries I had intended to buy. Still there was no one in that checkout. I am a 60 yr/old disabled veteran with sight and other impairments, but fortunately, courtesy and common sense are not on my list of problems. From my days in the army, I couldn't help but wonder how much of this situation was a training issue?
I was very happy and pleased with the service of Bargain Price Movers. The office had good communication with me about my move(confirming,letting me know e.t.a),the movers were funny and really worked hard, and the price was awesome. Best movers in San Antonio.
I give this place 5 stars For their effort and Understanding. The owner Christian Really puts himself in his customers Shoes. Serious about his job and commitment to helping others Get into a good Working Vehicle. Bad credit or not, everyone is given the same effort and dedication. We all Know the stresses and complications of trying to buy a car When your credit is completely shot.Though My experience at this business started off bumpy, This Dealership NEVER told me No, instead worked hard and diligently to get me in a good vehicle. I am a single mother and from anyone who is knows how important it is to have a car, The owner Christian really empathized with me on this, worked even harder to Get me in a nice vehicle. Treats customers as if they were his family or in my case as if I was his little sister. Its important to have someone behind you, backing you and working to help you. This is exactly What this dealership does. BAD CREDIT?? They never say No, They Get you Financed and above what is expected to ensure the satisfaction of their customers.
PLEASE READ!!!! I recently moved to San Antonio and needed a car. My family warned me of the dangers involved when buying a used car. Still I needed a cheap car and S A Auto had an amazing deal on a 2005 Sunfire. I met with a man named Valente who could immediately tell it was my first car. He told me the Sunfire ran great and was mechanically sound and if there was ever a problem to have me call him. I ended up buying the car. I was so happy but, that happiness didn't last for long.2hours after I bought the car it stopped working. I feared the worst thinking I was out 3000$. The next day I called Mr. Valente and told him the car didn't start. Immediately he called a nearby car repair shop, sent out a tow truck, fixed the car ASAP and then personally called me up to tell me the tow and repair cost was covered by S A Auto. If you are looking for a car dealer who stands by their word and treats each customer as a friend rather than a money sign then I IMPLORE you to give S A Auto a call.
My family livea few minutes by this store. I love the location since its very close to home and a 1 stop shop. Heres my probem. My son and i were standing in check out and apperantly the young lady new my son from HS and she was not fond of my son. With that said she was not only RUDE to me but RUDE TO ME MULTIPLE TIME THAT I WENT THERE. I did complain to a JR manager who i hope spoke with this young lady about her attitude. This by the way still goes on even last week when i was there.I say these young ones need more training while checking out customers.just last week on Friday evening after work past 7pm it happened again with a new cashier.She kept trying to get her managers attention who promly came but just stood there acting like she was going to bag my items. I AM JUST OVER ALL SAD WITH THE WAY CERTAIN PEOPLE ACT!!! Jhasty
I am on the verge of purchasing my 3rd vehicle in the past year. The staff there were really professional and when I asked them to search for the vehicle I wanted they did not hesitate. Usually salesmen will just want to put you in any car just for the sake of lining their pockets these guys found what I wanted from exterior to interior. Like I said I am on the verge of purchasing my third vehicle and have since recommended family and friends and they all have been taken care of and have driven off in their respected dream cars. Of course at times they are busy due to the traffic of people purchasing but nonetheless all my calls were returned and any questions I had were taken care of. I recommend anyone looking for down to earth people and not vultures fighting over sales to go to Auto Forum and drive off happy.
I had a really good experience with these guys. Went to look at a Ford Focus and ended up purchasing a 2004 PT Cruser in February 2017. As with any used car, as expected, it needed some work but these guys went way beyond what was expected of them. I previously read some bad reviews and when I looked at some more there were really good ones. it appears that Yellow Pages mainly posts the negative reviews. I found someone who knows about PT crusers and he told me I got an amazing deal and with the repairs they did for a reasonable price I got a steal. I highly recommend working with them and if you have issues, please remember, your looking for and purchasing a used car. I got more than I paid for and have a great deal of respect for the owner. Highly recommend Alamo Car Center.
I would highly recommend these guys. I had been looking for a specific vehicle for about 2 months. Just so happened I saw that vehicle posted for sale and gave them a call. I went that evening to see the car and it was awesome. Bernie and Jadon were very polite and helpful, even stayed late to make sure I drove the car and liked it. It has been years since I purchased a pre owned vehicle and I was very leary. But......the minute you meet these guys and see the vehicles on their lot, it is apparent they sell nice cars that are in great shape. If they have a vehicle you are interested in, don't be scared, they will take care of you. Oh, and the deal they gave me was extremely good, better than you will find at Carmax and other places. My fiancee has been talking to Albert Calzada about getting a car for about a week now. My car was totaled in a wreck and left my family and I on foot for almost 2 weeks. Albert has been very helpful in letting us know what all we needed to get together in order for us to be able to get a vehicle with them. He ever so graciously went out of his way to go and get us from our house on the southeast side of town just to get a deal done for my family and I to have a vehicle. That is true Customer Service!!!! I would highly recommend byuying a car from Sierra Motors anytime. THe staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!!! I just had a great experience with Mike at Alamo Car Center! He is a true professional and an honest, unpretentious, man. I found out that my 1998 Avalon needed some extensive work and decided that I would rather put that money into another car. I always buy used and I prefer older cars. Mike had a great selection and went out of his way to meet my expectations, questions, and concerns. In the end, though reasonably priced and mechanically sound, I decided that I don't want to part with my car just yet. I have gotten quite use to no car payments, low insurance, and the great way it drives. When the day comes that I HAVE to make a change, I will certainly go see Mike and know, without a doubt, that I will be well taken care of. Thank you for taking so much time with me!
I was looking for 2 months for a car and needed something fast to help me get me to and from work. All the dealerships I had gone to were either to expensive for a monthly payment even though I had good credit. However due to personal issues that afflicted me I was unable to get a car. After talking with Bobby and everyone at 57 Auto Sales they were able to help me find a car that I like and help me get a reasonable payment. I say they "helped" me but these guys went above and beyond of what was expected your typical Customer Service! They listen to you and will do their best to help you.
