The best dealers I have worked with. I drove 200 miles through the rain and it was worth it. Great service, price and car . I will be returning when I need my next car and the staff is friendly and helpful
I read the reviews and I was a little concerned about buying a car from them, They mostly have bad reviews for customers that financed a vehicle. I talked to the sales man and he explained to me that this business “lives” mainly off the payements the receive and thats why they try to give you a …

First class down to earth honest easy going no pressure sales very helpful awesome Bargains On clean reliable inexpensive vehicles warranties and service available to help fire unheard of and this demographic
I have bought two vehicles with them. Unfortunately, my credit doesn’t allow me to shop in preferred places. This place preys on people like me, first vehicle missing parts they never replaced as promised, second vehicle turns out was wrecked prior and had to have required to have lights work and discovered cover up bondo and repairs within. Also, parts it didn’t have on purchase were never fixed as promised. I know it’s tough for people in my financial situation but these guys are vultures and people like Andy (salesmen) will make you switch to his buddy insurance Jerome Crayton(State Farm) before you leave stating your insurance isn’t good enough. All around bad service and bad products, when you leave they could care less.
problem vehiclesmisleading personal not worth wasting your time no reputation what so ever at such place.
❌DO NOT GO HERE!!!!🚫🚫❌❌Kentrell sold me a 2014 Ford Fiesta that was a rental they bought to sell come to find out and it made sense after that he didn’t want to hand me the car fax just said it only had 2 owners and pointed at that . It broke down on the way home and had to get a new clutch in by Jordan ford( a super professional dealership) Ketrell would never call me back or pick up his phone and John Brown the better than you attitude GM at VW Alamo heights told me its AS IS and that I’m not welcome back on the property . What a scam !!! This was my daughters 1st car and John & Kentrell knew it .Dealerships should never sell old rentals but VW Alamo heights does
We bought a used 2008 Prius from this dealership on 1/18/13 that had less than 50k miles on it. We declined the extended warranty, because we knew it would have the 60k mile powertrain warranty, and who would expect a car with less than 50k miles to break down? One of the selling points that made us pay an extra $1000.00 over what we wanted to pay was that "This is a good car that's gone through a 118 point inspection that you won't have to fix" (according to our salesman).Six days later, on 1/24/13, the car died completely. It took my husband over an hour to get it home, having to drive it for 20 seconds at a time before it would completely die again. My husband called our salesman, who literally told us we were out of luck since we didn't buy the extended warranty. I then called the used sales manager, who told me the same thing (after hanging up on me once). He finally agreed to have it towed to his service department, but said they probably wouldn't be able to fix it, since it's a Prius. The next day, my husband was so irritated with dealing with the rude sales manager that he called the General Manager, Wes Burke (who is named in some of the replies from VW of Alamo Heights). Wes was very helpful...at the beginning. He told us to have the car towed from New Braunfels to a Toyota dealership in San Antonio (at our expense), and find out if anything could be fixed under warranty. According to Toyota, none of the problems are under warranty, including the auxiliary battery, which goes out slowly, and which should have been caught by the "118 point inspection" done by the dealership before they sell it. When I called Wes back to let him know that the repairs on our 6-day old car are over $700.00, he told me he was pretty sure he wasn't going to do anything, but he would pull the papers from the sale. After waiting for a call back for an hour, I called constantly for 20 minutes until someone finally answered, and he only agreed to pay 178.00 of the 700.00 repairs.I am very disappointed with this dealership, their customer service, and their so-called "inspection" that should have, at the very least, caught that the auxiliary battery was going out. I will still be calling their corporate office (Group 1 Automotive, for anyone else who needs to know) to let them know about this dealership's customer service (especially the sales manager who hung up on me).
I paid Jesse over 1,00.00 to replace a motor for me. The day after I brought it home I kept having problems. I took it back and he said it was the transmission. I took it to AAmco and they said the transmission is good and asked me if i knew that the car was missing the rear motor mount aka transmission mount. I took it back and jesse pretended to be surprised and said that his brother was the one who forgot to put it in and when they searched the shop for the motor mount it was nowhere to be found. I bought another one and left it there since I had to go to work. I really didnt want to leave my car, but he had to make it right. I asked him if he could please right the wrong and he said absolutely. Needless to say when I picked it up he adviced me that he did not want to have any dealings with me or my car. The car was still having trouble symptoms, hard shifting, rocking while driving, then finally the car didnt want to shift any more and the motor started smoking. I had to push the car two blocks to my house. That was about a week after they "installed the new motor mount I replaced. Anyway, I called another mechanic who came to inspect the problem. He quickly identified the problem: the passenger motor mount was not tightened and upon further inspection he realized that the bolt they used for the motor mount was for a Tire, the washers were just loose and dangling and he showed me how the bolt that belongs to the motor mount should have gone through to the other side. I have pictures and receipts. I am filing a civil suit. Jesse you have paid evil for good and the Lord says, that evil shall never leave your house. see you in court. I reported him to the federal trade commission, attorney general, BBB, and some other local agencies. You will give me back my money Jesse. I do not trust you with my car. You risked peoples lives and you didnt care.

Over the past 25 years, I have purchased numerous vehicles from MBOFSA and have always been extremely happy with them. It's always a pleasure when I have my car serviced at MBOFSA. A few months ago, they found my lost earring, as they were washing & vacuuming my car. The earring was on the floorboard and had been missing for months, needless to say, I was grateful and excited when they found it and returned it to me. Gary Sauter has been my service advisor for many years and is and has always been courteous, professional and thorough. I highly recommend MBOFSA due to their fantastic customer service, I have always been pleased.
