About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I thought going to his other location might make a difference. Nope. Waited an hour just to get to the second waiting area. Some doctors are worth the wait... not this one. I left. This was their fourth chance. Employees at both locations are also very unfriendly and rude. Not to mention... last time he said... well I guess this is as good as we're going to get (regarding my levels).WTF?!?!

My first couple of visits were great here but they have gone now hill with their customer service. If you care anything about having a reliable appointment time DO NOT GO HERE!!!!They cancelled my follow up appointment and I was not able to make a new appointment at that time. I called back twice and was put on hold and hung up after 20 min. I decided to go in and make my appointment and was told I would have to sit and wait. I was told there were a lot of people in front of me and it would be about 20 min!!! Come on THEY cancelled my appointment!!! I have asked my PCP to refer me to a new endocrinologist.

Dr. Akhrass has always been a great doctor and I've been coming to the clinic for about ten years now. But times and the quality of care have changed. The wait times for scheduled appointments are usually 1-2 hours. So if you're scheduled to be seen at 2:00 pm, you can almost guarantee that you won't be seen till 3:00. It's become rather frustrating and I no longer feel like a patient but rather a number. This is now routine, I come in (30 mins ahead of time) have my labs and vitals done and just wait. The visit with the doctor is usually 15 minutes and I'm out the door with what I come for-scripts for medications that I cannot live without. BOTTOM LINE: If you're a new diabetic or suffer from a disorder that your family doctor cannot control, the DGD will probably be worth your while. If you're a controlled patient looking for routine check ups DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
