Nice people but I no longer love my favorite boots. I took my brownish gray, distressed-look boots to be re-heeled. They had a wooden heel with a rubber bottom that had worn down but I didn't want to replace the boots because I love them and when I bought them they were $180. When I picked them up the heel had been replaced with a big black rubber heel, which I thought looked odd on a pair of brownish gray boots, but then I realized the boots had been polished with black polish, making the scuffs which had once been unnoticeable EXTREMELY noticeable. One of the heels is also uneven so when I walk it feels like I have something stuck to the bottom of my shoe and my foot rolls around, which is very uncomfortable. Great price for repair but I wish I had been told in advance that they would not be fitting a similar heel and would instead be fitting a larger, out-of-place looking heel and changing the color of my boots entirely. I miss my boots. EDIT: Finally managed to return to the store and my boots are being re-heeled to fix the unevenness and the gentleman was kind enough to offer a leather heel instead and also to wash off the black polish, which I am very happy about! It was very nice of him to offer to restore my boots as I only went in to ask for the uneven heel to be fixed. Extremely pleased.
Over 50 years of experience. Stop by and judge for yourself. We are highly recommended by major western stores in town and many many clients.
My dad Amado H Torres worked for this company back in the 70's and 80's when it was in downtown connected to the Navarro Hotel on Navarro St. San Antonio Texas
They are AMAZING!! Not only do they do a great job with my shoes, they have the BEST customer service EVER!!
This place is awesome. The man that assisted me was very pleasant. I would recommend this shop. Fixed the belt while I waited and best of all he didn't even charge me for it.
I took my husband's cowboy boots to get full-soles and heels, they were ready in 2 days. When I picked them up they looked brand new and they did a great job on them. I am very much impressed with there work, I am going to tell all of our family and friends about this great new shoe repair shop, finally we have one on the NW side of town! Thank you, Urban Boot & Shoe Repair for doing such a wonderful job :-)
Pulled out my strappy rhinestone heals and inspected them to make sure they were still in good shape, they looked great with the exception of one heal tab had cracked. I took them to this shop to get fixed and had to wait several days for him to put a new tab on both shoes. When I picked them up today I immediately noticed 3 stones missing and a strap separated. The shop owner hooked the strap back on (but didn't bother to close the ring), said "I'm sorry Ms. Smith, I'll give you a discount on the repairs" then suggested I go to Hobby Lobby to look for replacement stones. I heard him overtell another customer that he is so busy that he can't remember any of his customers, he won't need to remember me, I won't be back. Anyone know of a GOOD shoe repair shop who can fix the damages?
