I had an appointment with my primary care provider today for my yearly exam, which I booked 7 weeks ago. Last night I received a phone call asking if I had called to change the time. I had not. The person on the phone asked if I could change my appointment to 3:30. I said sure. I arrived at 3:20 to sign in for my appointment. I waited and waited and waited and finally at 4:10 p.m. I approached the front desk staff, who were all sitting around doing nothing, and asked about my appointment. One person says, "Oh, Dr. Estrada is running about an hour behind." Um. could they have told me that when I walked in? I walked out of the appointment. I am sure if I showed up an hour late, the doctor wouldn't take me. The front staff of this clinic is uninformed, unprofessional, and lazy. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. This same clinic gave my daughter a WRONG VACCINATION and like an idiot, I have given them chance after chance after chance to redeem themselves, They have failed miserably every time.
I haven't even had a session with Dr. Thompson yet but the way he was so thorough in setting my appointment and working with my insurance was so impressive. Very nice and helpful.
I liked this clinic until a few months ago when I went to see my doc and she treated me like a drug seeker because I am very sensitive to meds and refused most she offered and suggested a specific one that HAS worked for me in the past at 1/2 the usual dose (prescribed by a surgeon that I didn't want to pay my deductible to go see just for a refill). You can never get an acute appointment and well physicals have to be booked 2-3 months out. Today I tried to get my 1 teenager in that hasn't been established there yet an acute appointment and I was told they don't book acute appointments for new patients!!! Since when do you have to be HEALTHY and seen before you are allowed to see a doctor for actually being sick??? Either their office staff is clueless and they need some serious retraining or the entire office needs to be clued in on how medical offices work.Sorry Medfirst at Overlook...you are fired. I'm hiring a new doc.
I live behind this park. The owner leaves abandoned and derelict units on site until the lots are rented. We had two decaying, empty units next door for well over four years.
If you want a doctor who is never available for appointments and staff that could care less then this is the right office for you.
the owner, charlie is sure a scrooge. he denied my application and did not even called me to let me know, so i went to his office and he said in a really rude tone that it was denied because of my hubby's record which his record is nothing serious. plus later i heard from other tenants that he cursed at a tenant and was getting violent with the tenant.
The medical care was sufficient, but their billing practices are horific. I and my wife went in for wellness physicals, for which my employer pays 100% of the cost. Before they were done with us we had to pay several hundred dollars out of pocket for service we didn’t ask for or know we had received. Be VERY specific about what you want if you go here. Every question they ask may be considered treatment even if they offer you no remedy. I will not go here again if I can help it.
The Therapist and Receptionist and Owner of the practice are all nice and friendly! They are all very willing to work with your family's schedule to accommodate your child and what works best for her/him. The con: their location and the building their practice is located in.
