RUN DON'T WALK!!! I am a mother of two recently divorced working to improve my credit and overall financial situation and thought JD Byrider could help boy was I wrong! I purchased a vehicle that had an engine light on from the day I drove off the lot. I test drove the car and then the saleswoman took the car to put gas in it (after I signed my paperwork of course) and the engine light came on when she brought it back to me....she told me to bring the car back the next day and that it would be a simple fix but that wasn't the case... I purchased the car in August I couldn't get the car registered until February because of the engine light remaining on after attempting to fix the car 10 different times.. I spent over $100 in cab fees dropping the car off to the multiple car shops JD Byrider partners with. The car was given back to me and the engine light continues to come on and go off...things got so bad they had to give me a replacement car (which had an engine light on also and smelled of burnt rubber under the hood). The dealership in Austin where I purchased my car was closed down I have had to deal with the people in the San Antonio office for repairs etc. Ramiro Herrera is the GM he told me that I would get a replacement car because I explained to him that I felt taken advantage of and hoodwinked because I was given a car with severe engine issues that they "rigged" to get to pass inspection only for the engine light to continue to come back on! I was promised a call back about a replacement car and never received one..I have pictures to show that I have had 3 temp tags expire because I couldn't get the car registered or inspected with the engine light on! Now that my car is registered the engine light still comes on and goes off! They will take advantage of you because they know they report to your credit and they want to make sure they stick you in a POS car and force you to make payments or have your credit score be impacted negatively! I had some worries about going to a used car lot, but Daniel made me feel comfortable. BEWARE OF BAD CARS AND TERRIBLE MANAGER! Cars are not being properly inspected or maintenanced by their so called "mechanic". Cars frequently returned within weeks with numerous and expensive issues... of which the manager refuses to assume responsibility for. The owner hires active felons... namely her son, who sexually harasses her staff and faces no consequences. All around aweful atmosphere. Such a shame because before the change in management (going from the owner's son to the owner's lying and conniving daughter) this place used to be a respectable establishment. Please, don't waste your hard earned money at this aweful place... and good luck to those of you who already have.
should have known better when he offered me a beer when I went to look at a car. Paid $2800 for a car that didn't last one week. Went back and asked if he would apply some of that to a different car. He refused. He was very rude and angry. He locked my car inside his gate and said he was going to keep it! I had to actually call the police to get him to open the gate. He talks a good game, but I would avoid George at all costs. At the time, his "business" was a glass replacement "business," yet he was selling cars. I'm not even sure he's supposed to be selling cars, but when I went there, his cars didn't have the "buyers guide" that's SUPPOSED to be posted BY LAW on one of the side windows of the car. This Buyers Guide states that a vehicle is being sold either "with warranty" or "without warranty." It's Texas law that this paper be posted on a window of the vehicle. George didn't have this on the car. This was three years ago when I purchased the car, he may have changed his routine by now. Either way, there were MANY red flags about this seller, but I didn't listen to my gut. BE CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN!

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT fill out a credit application with these people. After I found a brand new vehicle for 3k less than they were selling a used for, they continued to run my credit for several days following. There was no question about my position. I was upfront and told them I'd found a better deal. For anyone to continue to pull my credit report 4 days AFTER I left the lot is nothing short of fraud. Don't get lied to, ripped off, or worse, have your identity stolen. Go to a reputable dealer with prices listed and warranties.

I have bought two vehicles with them. Unfortunately, my credit doesn’t allow me to shop in preferred places. This place preys on people like me, first vehicle missing parts they never replaced as promised, second vehicle turns out was wrecked prior and had to have required to have lights work and discovered cover up bondo and repairs within. Also, parts it didn’t have on purchase were never fixed as promised. I know it’s tough for people in my financial situation but these guys are vultures and people like Andy (salesmen) will make you switch to his buddy insurance Jerome Crayton(State Farm) before you leave stating your insurance isn’t good enough. All around bad service and bad products, when you leave they could care less.
