I WILL NOT go to a civilian hospital!!! Did that a couple of times and it was horrid. I've had a couple of upper and lower GI's, Laranyx repair, a double bypass due to a heart attack. If you can rate a hospital up there with a 5 star hotel, well this is it!! the heart attack and following allergic reaction to morphine caused me to have to apologize to the nurses and dr's.for my rude behavior. They were understanding and did not expect me to as tooo many ppl do this. They had only my best interest at heart, were understanding and loving while i was the worst patient from below. I was emberassed at my attitude and treatment of them. Never once did they loose their cool with me when it was warranted. 3.5 weeks due to heart attack, surgery and they were angels. I tried not to bother them as I know they are busy, understaffed, underpaid and have many NEEDY personalities to contend with. Removal of the chest drainage tubes I have to say was a pleasant experience as the nurses were well versed in making it painless. And they allowed me to sleep as i have problems with it. If they took pressures they did it such a way as not to wake me. I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING bad to say of this hospital. I was treated like a queen each time I was there. To each and every worker there from the housekeeping staff to the dr's I THANK YOU for my life!! And for finding problems I had no idea existed but only through your extensive and sometimes odd tests and caring, those problems are fixed or being handled. To my ANGELS thank you. And my family thanks you also.
I am a local independant insurance agent in the Dallas Metroplex. We represent many insurance companies and have found Pronto to be in our top three chosen by our clients. The major insurance companies require a credit check when purchasing auto insurance. Times have been tough and many of our clients credit scores have been bruised by the economy. Unfortunatly, as the credit decreases in score, the seesaw effect occures with an increase in the renewal premium. Pronto does not credit score. We have moved many of our clients to Pronto with great success. Claims? Yes they occur. Our office is contacted immedietly after a claim by a Pronto represenative. I appreciate this act, most of our other companies do not notify us. This month, Jan. 2011, we have had 3+ claims with Pronto clients. All were handled professionally and we had only praises from our clients involved. Realize that it is the responsibility of the insured to respond back to all calls from claims represenativies. Many claims are "dragged" for long periods of time do to the neglect from all parties involved. "Slow down and pay attention", we will all live longer....
I've had quotes from many companies, including Progressive, State farm, Allstate along with others. Nobody even comes close to touching the great rate I pay at Pronto. I have all the coverage I need at half the rate of most other companies. I was involved in a collision a few months ago, where I was sitting at a red light and was the 2nd in a 4 car collision (Not my fault obviously) Pronto was quick to respond and within a few days, I had a check to cover repairs. They also went after the responsible party to attempt to get me reimbursed for my deductible, but was unsuccessful. This was not their fault, it was due to the responsible party basically skipping out on the whole thing. The point is, that they kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and were very helpful. With such great rates and service, why would anyone go elsewhere for their auto insurance?
Dr. Yazdani is simply a brilliant physician. It impresses me just how precise his diagnostic always is. Sure, everybody can think twice before going with him because he doesn't accept insurance, but this is a minimal fee when you value your money, time, and most of all, your health. He pulled me out of a severe sinus infection in just one visit and with only one treatment. An issue that couldn't be solved by a primary doctor and a renowned specialist in 5 and 3 visits, respectively during the course of more than 3 months. Absurd. Going with Dr. Yazdani is a walk through the park. He's punctual, super smart, and very friendly, as well as his staff. If you're lucky enough to live in San Antonio and are having health problems, just pay a visit to Dr. Yazdani. I'm sure he will be the best doctor you'll ever meet. Thanks, Dr.
While in the process of reaching our vacation destination, my husband fell and broke his hip and was hospitalized in the Audie Murphy VA Hospital. Believe me it was not the vacation we had planned but we are sooooo thankful we were in that area when he fell. We were very satisfied with his eleven day stay there. From the time I drove into the emergency entrance until he was dismissed 11 days later, we were treated with respect, love, attention and caring doctors and nurses. We could not have asked for better care while on the 4th floor. We shall always feel indebted to all the staff there. They were super! I stayed at Days Inn fairly close to the hospital and the owner and workers there were very considerate and took care of every need. Thanks so much San Antonio.
They are just here for the money. I have been in here a few times. Some tech who isn't even a nurse wants to draw blood before I even see the doctor. They give you very few refills on meds if any and make you come back in to get them refilled. There are several signs hanging about charges (ex. Copies of your chart cost $25 for the first 20 pages and 50 cents a page after that. Thats ridiculous it's your chart. It costs them a max of 5 cents a page even after they pay the clerk. On my last visit I was in for a cold. I was rushed out without even going over the meds I have been taking. You would think somebody would want to know that. One good thing. There doesn't ever seem to be a full waiting room and they get you back to see the doctor quickly. Well maybe it's a good thing.
The physician and his staff are probably the nicest people I have ever met at a medical facility. I had fevers, temperature, night sweats, and failure to thrive for a while and luckily the doctor ran some blood work and diagnosed me with a curable form of leukemia. I am grateful to Stone Oak Urgent Care & Family Practice for saving my life and will continue to see him as my PCP and will recommend anybody to go here as you will not find a more nice and intelligent physician out there as this guy has an MBA and PhD in addition to his medical degree. Also, the new location on Stone Oak Blvd is brand new and amazingly beautiful, which is an added bonus to the great physician. Thank you Stone Oak Urgent Care & Family Practice!!!!!!!!!!!
CommuniCare Health Centers is a breath of fresh air! Now that fewer physicians are accepting Medicaid patients I have found it extremely difficult to see a doctor for myself and my children. CommuniCare's east side location (E. Commerce) was not at all was I was anticipating it to be. The first thing I noticed as I drove into the parking lot was how clean it was. The staff greeted me as we walked in and the best part was that I was able to see an OBGYN and dentist on the same day. While I was at my appointments my husband got a check up and my children were able to see a Pediatric doctor and dentist. Talk about convenient! The experience far exceeded my expectations!
I've been going to this doctor for 6 or 7 years and the office staff have always handled my calls, questions, messages and the like with professionalism and ease. I get calls back same day or next. And I love that he's added an assistant to his practice. If he can't see me, she can. Wait time varies; I've waited 5 minutes, I've waited 40 minutes. But I know that sometimes I'm the one making others wait due to my issues, so I try to be patient while others see him. I've heard the office staff handling difficult patients before and I can say I've never heard them be rude or careless with their words. I give the whole office and Doctor Ramirez 5 stars across the board.
Finally, a doctor that listens and works with you instead of bossing you and treating you like your beneath him or less intelligent. If your going to a Doctor that herds you like cattle in and out your appointment, go see our favorite one, Doctor Yazdani! Seriously.....Hurry! There are not many Doctors left like him! You won't be disappointed at all! NOTE: When you turn into his office address DO NOT STOP at the first Medical/Doctors office you see from the road as you enter the parking lot, that is NOT our favorite Doctor! On entering the parking lot, go to the right and drive towards the rear suites.
