26. Duo Lounge
I recently visited this lounge for my sister's birthday. We took all of my siblings and their spouses. We were there about an hour and a half when things started going REALLY bad. There was a broken glass on the floor and as we were getting ready to leave she cut the side of her foot on it. We tr…
They do not wash their shot glasses between customers. I witnessed firsthand the chilli rim shots being refilled after being licked by another customer. Absolutley disgusting. They allow Minors to drink, it is really overpriced and has a bad crowd.
Place is DIRTY... My wife was served a drink and the glass still had lipstick and fingerprints all over it. Mold looks like it's growing behind some of the bar areas... Smells horrible! The smokers leave the door open when they smoke outside, but the stench comes into the bar area. Terrible service. The guy bartender smelled like he had not showered in weeks and was all sweaty and disheveled. Never again.
came here for lunch. The staff was very friendly.I had the roast beef panini. It was good. I especially like the bread and the way it was toasted. My friend had the lasagna. It was very good also. The prices were very reasonable.I will go back.
I came here for lunch on a weekday. The customer services was good. I had a coupon so the price was great. The food was average. The decorations are really neat.
It was nice.I went here for lunch with a large group. The customer service was very good and the food came out promptly.I had the weekday lunch special, Tortellini Pesto. It was excellent. The lunch special prices were good. The prices on other items appeared to be high.It was very cold in there. I recommend wearing long sleeves and/or bringing a jacket or sweater.
Below average. I came here for lunch with a group of 6. The service was slow. We were seated in an area that was previously reserved so we had to move after taking our orders. The server didn't remember who ordered what and some of the orders were wrong.Everybody in the group said the food tasted fine. The lunch prices are reasonable. I probably will not go back.
Wow! I just had lunch at La Tuna and it was great! I had the Chicken Sandwich. There was 4 in our party and we all enjoyed our selections very much. The food was hot, fresh and full of flavor. Looking at the other diners' dishes, I'd have to say everything looked great. The portions were generous. The service was wonderful as well. We had a great lunch and will definitely be back to try out some other dishes. It does get a little crowded at lunchtime, but we got there just before the crowd came in. There is not too much seating indoors, but there are plenty of tables outside in the shade of the pecan trees. Even at a little less than 100 degrees, people outside seemed to enjoy themselves. The shade of the trees really helped making it tolerable.
I spent hundreds of my evenings at The Bum Steer back in the 1970-80's and it was AWESOME FUN!!! We may live in Arkansas now but we're both from the SOUTHSIDE of San Antonio, TX. and are hearts will always hold on to it.
My boyfriend and I went there last night. I wouldn't recommend it. We were the first people there, arriving at 6:00 or so. Nobody greeted us when we arrived, so we sat down. No one came over to take our order and we didn't see anything about the happy hour specials we had heard about. Finally I went to the bar where the female bartender was busy chatting with a male employee (manager?). I asked her for a happy hour menu. She quickly named off a short list of specials. There wasn't a printed happy hour menu.Despite this, we ordered our drinks and tried to keep an open mind. (We had three drinks each and there was barely a dribble of alcohol in any of the drinks.) At one point, I went to the front because I saw a sign-up box for a giveaway. Nowhere did it say what the prize was, so I started chatting with another patron who was signing up also. We laughed because neither one of us knew what the prize was. Then a woman who had overheard our conversation came over and said it was for CD's and movie tickets. She told me she was going to enter last so her entry would be on top and she would be more likely to win. We laughed. Then she introduced herself as the hostess! I couldn't believe there was even a hostess because no one had greeted us or anyone else. Also, the fact that the hostess was trying to outsmart the patrons to win the prize seemed at the very least to be a conflict of interest.I had invited ten friends to join us later, and at that point I texted them and told them not to come. We went to Silo instead.Bottom line: Very disappointing. Awful staff. Weak drinks. We won't be back.
EXCELLENT! All food items were delicious. The server was knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
