I ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday celebration and it was pretty good. There were lots of compliments from the guests. The customer service was nice as well. I ordered on a Friday and needed the cake Monday. They called me on Saturday to make sure they had all the info they needed to make my cake special. The only thing is, I wish they had given me instructions. That may sound silly, but the shop is about 10 minutes from my office where the cake was to be served. I thought the 10 min drive and walk to my building would be plenty of time for the ice cream to soften up a bit for cutting. It was very tough to cut because it was still so frozen...we even used a knife dipped in warm water. I think they should let folks know to let it sit out a bit before cutting into the cakes. Other than that, it was a great experience.
I've been going to this Baskin Robbins for 38 years. It's the first Baskin Robbins in San Antonio, and the only one inside Loop 410. This location is a neighborhood institution in Alamo Heights and Terrell Hills, and fittingly is only doors down from another local landmark eatery, La Fonda. It's…

We have been regulars at Sam's since this place opened. Home made ice cream and great service. My favorites are chocolate chip mint and maple walnut ice cream on a sugar cone. Husband loves his cake batter milk shake and daughter is eating her way through all the flavors. Happy to have found a local small business that takes pride in their product. Sam's is also military owned and we gladly support our troops!
Looked this up for the store phone number to order a party pack for tomorrow. I am now going to save it in my phone. I have already filled up a couple of punch cards. So my kids and I are in there a lot! It is a real treat for us. I have never ever seen the kids shaving not wearing gloves. We like to stand at the side to watch them make our treats. So I say the other review is seriously mistaken.
Ordered the chicken chimichanga. Cheese on top was like melted Cheez Whiz. Inside was very little chicken and a gravy sauce. Rice was crunchy throughout. Only edible part was the retried beans. Bartender was ok although he got my initial order wrong. Was given a free beer for the error so can't complain too much about that. But I would not go back.

I love Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt. Arctic Ape has a great thing going here in San Antonio. Their frozen desserts taste the best of any place I've been, and they have the most selections available. The selection of toppings is never-ending and fruits are garden fresh. I give this place 5 stars, a triple WOW, and the #1.
Great tasting yogurt...and I don't normally eat the stuff! Shawn and Hub, the owners, are two of the most friendly people I have ever met. Nice, clean place, lots of selections and comfy sofas too!
Had a great time here!! Will be a returning customer!! Loved the shaved ice and bubble tea. Atmosphere was very chill!
Wonderful shop and good service. They offer military discount and do not accept tips...
We LOVE the frozen yogurt... it's a great place to make lots of cherished memories.
