Dealing with the owner and corporate offices was fair and they listened. It took time to get past the employee who was intent on not letting me return my phone. Mitchan, owner and Cricketcorporate listened and did the right thing. Kudos
Don't go here or use AT&T!!!We had 3 iphones w/AT&T. One was dropped and we wanted to replace it (due to broken glass/still worked fine). We also wanted to move one person off our plan (as he'd married and was going on a plan with his wife).We went to the AT&T store 4 times, Best Buy 2 times and it was a nighmare.AT&T told us different things every time we came in. They threw up roadblocks to prevent us from buying our phones and service via Best Buy. AT&T said we had a business plan (which was news to us, as it was originally set up as a family plan. For whatever reason, Best Buy wasn't allowed access to a business plan, even though I set up our phones with AT&T and they had my signature and I could identify every question they asked). The plan had expired its contract, and it appears AT&T's intent was to make each of buy a new 2 yr contract through them...not Best Buy.We wanted to replace the broken phone, continue as we are now, except move son off the plan to his own plan (where he and his wife would have 2 phones). We were told we could port all numbers, but when our son went to the AT&T store, they wouldn't let him port the number (which I think is illegal). We're contacting our attorney. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to have a phone without a long-term contract. How do these guys get away with this kind of stuff?! AT&T customer service is awefulOur son had to change his number, which he's had for many years.I left the store mad and will shop around for anyone except AT&T. They're telling me that if I don't stay with them, we can't keep our numbers as we have a business acct.They also said they didn't have any iphones, but when they found out that we intended to go with Best Buy iphone, they suddenly had them....if we got a 2 yr contract.
It seems that all the high school GED rejects work here. That includes the manager. When they have to research how a plan works; there's a problem.
Broke my iPhone 7 after just a week of having it these guys had a great price and it was done in 45 minutes. Great service very fast.
They sell $800 phones that have problems and then try to give you a piece of garbage refurbished phone. The manager chuck was extremely rude and uncaring of my problem. Terrible company. Terrible customer service.
My iPhone 6 Plus had a cracked screen with all my apps working correctly!! I took my phone to this place to get the screen fix and was given my phone back with a fixed screen... But not even an hour after charging my phone I noticed the my flash light app and camera did not work at all! I called this place as soon as I noticed it and sent an email explaining that these apps were not working. I receive a call the next morning and was adviced that I could bring the phone back and they would take a look at it. In the process of my phone being checked their rep was trying to convince me that I was the one responsible for breaking my flash light and camera and wanted to charge me to fix their mistake! I know for sure it was their mistake because another rep explained that I was the 4th person to have this issue today! The situation was handled very poorly and I would never recommend anyone spend their hard earned money to have any device fixed in this dishonest establishment!!!
Terrible experience! They ripped me off. Sold me a phone without transferring number or data. Lied about asking for that then admitted he messed up. Also I was told I could have a refund but only half my money back when the phone was still in store! He lost SD card which was later found behind trash can which had all my pictures and data. Not to mention I spent 5 hours there after closing. He said I can fix it tomorrow and that he would call me when he had time to talk to customer service. I left with a new number which was his fault and I still had to use my old phone which was breaking. I never received a call the next day so I went into the location and talked to the manager Renee and another 4 hours spent because the original gentleman left early and never called and told anybody about this horrible mistake that he had made. Renee said he may be able to fix this but I would have to buy another phone and at this point I was beyond livid because I had just spent 200$ for a phone that had no use, no data, new number etc. I came to a conclusion we could figure this out and we did by me having to of course spend more money and more time 4 hours later to get my number ported to cricket. I was told by Renee that he would take care of this whole issue and that he would talk to the owner and they would call me the next day. Never got the call, I had to call again. He denied he couldn't help me, when he personally said to my face with my wife that he would definitely take care of this situation. I paid for a 60$ plan but now I'm using a 30$ plan. He said he could possibly refund me the 30$ for their mess up, which I shouldn't have to have paid for in the first place. I will be calling the BBB this week, filing a complaint for full refund unless I get what I was promised by the owner resolving this issue. My number is 2107029949. On another sad note the first salesman told me the phone could upgraded to lollipop and that it was so easy to update and said he personally had this phone with lollipop. When it came down to it he had no idea how to do this. These people have no knowledge on what the hell they are doing. They lie blantly to your face just to make a sale to make commission. They do not know their product which as a business owner is scary, because your personal number and data can be lost. One of the workers said this wouldn't be the first time this happened by the same salesman who helped me but in reality actually screwed me. Do not go here, do not give these people your time of day. They rip you off and could care less.
The waiting wasn't too long and the guy who helped us was really good at explaining things so we'd understand better...
DO NOT!!! Repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE THERE FOR ANY REPAIRS!!! Took a phone there for screen replacement that was supposed to take 3 to 4 days, took 3 to 4 weeks!!! Their repair guy is an absolute moron, pretty sure he doesn't know what he is doing and seems like the type that would YouTube step by step videos for repairs. Went there with one simple problem, screen replacement, ended up with 3 to 4 other problems, one of which still had to pay them more to replace an antenna and a sensor which never had any problems in the very first place, wonder if they were just intentionally broken, don't know what they are doing or they never needed to be ordered and they are just petty thieves. Have had to buy another phone waiting on their month long repairs and the phone is still messed up and would still have to pay a reputable shop to repair what he broke. They claimed on two separate occasions their shipping never came in and never informed the customer and to add the ultimate insult to injury, they were VERY RUDE and disrespectful, makes one wonder how they managed to stay and still in business... DO NOT GO THERE!!!
