No stars.... NIGHTMARE!!! LG gave this company's name as a company that they work with, so my husband and I didn't even think to look at his reviews. Everything that prior comments said were true for us as well. Robert, who is the owner of this company, does not care one bit about anyone's time, but his own. He came out twice, both times extremely late, and did not call prior to showing up..... even though his office said he would call 20mins before and also said we would be the first appointment of the day. My husband took off twice to meet and STAY later than planned since the technician (Owner) was so late.... and then both times I had to take off work to relieve my husband, so that he could go back to work. I was charged $350 for labor, to install a part that was UNDER WARRANTY. Then when he was finished, there was still a screw left on the floor, but he said that came from his work truck. He left, and when I tried to drive away (to go back to work), he stopped me in the street and said he needed 5 more minutes. I let him back in and he came in with a screwdriver.... probably to put back the screw that was on the floor, but when I asked what the problem was now, he said he forgot to "turn" something on, and the refrigerator would not have cooled properly. Geez.... couldn't remember to do that prior to finishing up and pushing the refrigerator back in place??? I literally chewed this man out for 5 minutes telling him what a rip off his company and staff were and how much he is overcharging.... his only reply.... that he didn't force me to use him and I could have gone elsewhere. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
Horrible customer service. Waited on hold for 30 mins. Never called to schedule service. I had to call over 10 plus times to get them to do warranty work for LG. Which by the way LG sucks for service too.
Charlie helped me out with what part I needed. It was inexpensive and he had it in stock!! Recommend them for all of your AC and appliance parts
RUN FOR THE HILLS. Horrible. They scheduled an appointment for half my day. No show, no phone call. I cant wait to schedule them on another one of my jobs and not be there when they show up.
This company deserves an F on a scale of A+ to F. There customer service, scheduling and service repair technicians are all deplorable. I have A contract with American Home Shield who set up my service repair for my built in microwave. The company never contacted me so I called them to set an appointment. They didn't show up. I had to take time off work for this appointment. I called late in the day to find out what had happened and if the technician was coming. They told me yes and then he never came, no phone call back, just a no show. So then I called American Home Shield to ask for a new service contractor - they of course told me "sorry - you have to use this company". So i had to call this company - they didn't call me - to reschedule. They came and made the diagnosis. The "Megatron" was bad. So the part was ordered. So far two and a half weeks have gone by. I get an email from AHS that the part was in, but no call from South Texas Appliance Repair. I finally called them. Yes, the part was in so I scheduled a morning appointment, again they did not show up - not the entire day. I called their office several times, and was told that I was next on the list. Two hours later, i called back and was told there were several calls ahead of me. Really? I had to take time off and agin no one showed up. So I called AHS again to complain and was told again that I was stuck with this company - shame on you AHS!I was assured by AHS that the company would show up for the next scheduled call. Guess what?? I scheduled again for the following Tuesday (now a month has gone by). THEY DON'T SHOW UP A THIRD TIME!!! What does AHS tell me???? Sorry ma'am nothing we can do. So I schedule a fourth time. At this point I demand that they come when it is convenient for me - at 5 pm after I am off work. The service technician comes and works on the microwave. Then tells me he is done, it's working now. However, I don't take the time to thoroughly check out the microwave, I take his word for it. Well today I tried to heat up a cup of water and notice that the digital panel isn't lit up. I press the auto time for three minutes and it starts up, and seems to run, but makes a really funny noise, when the timer beeps I get my water out and it is not hot. AND smoke pours out of the microwave and my entire house smells like an electrical meltdown of some sort. I close the door to the microwave and then notice that it isn't even sitting in the cabinet correctly. It had been jammed back in and the sides bowed out about a half an inch on each side and the bottom. He damaged the entire casing. I called AHS again. Guess what they told me??? You got it. They will call the vendor and have them check it out. NOT OVER MY DEAD BODY. I told them they would send someone else period. Someone needs to shut this company down.
Rude Disrespectful as well as not telling the truth. Was told parts will be ordered after approval from insurance company then 7 10 business days to get the part. The insurance company told us they contacted then to say the repair man could not do the repair 2 days prior to our call and that a new company will be doing calling to set up appointment to look at the appliance. 2 weeks now no service to the refrigerator.
***DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE IT WOULD BE A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY! ***So, I don't even know where to start... I bought a washer, dryer, and fridge from this store. Of course when I purchased it, there was no issues. My fridge was brand new, and my washer and dryer that I purchased was used. During the time of purchase, Martin said that it was less than 30 days old! So, he offered me a years warranty which gave me piece of mind, so we went for it.... When he got here to install, everything was perfect (except for the part when he dropped it coming up my driveway off the dolly). Not even 2 months later my washer is only washing my clothes for a total of 7 minutes and is preset to go for almost 45 minutes... I would say that it wasn't working properly right??Well after months of calling, trying to use my 1 years warranty he promised. He finally answered, and said he would come out to try and fix it. Well, that took another couple of weeks! When he got here to fix it the first time, he left and said it was fixed. I put a load in as soon as he left and again with the 7 minutes. I called him back, and he came back and got the washer the same day. He took the washer to some guy who fixed it and he brought it back. Well we thought it was fixed... Not even two weeks later, its doing it again! Since then, I have been trying to see what we can do to resolve the situation. NOTHING! I have asked for the owner to call me ... NOTHING! Martin is EXTREMELY rude and does not care to hear out his customers nor does he even hide the fact that we are unimportant. He has sent several rude text messages, and has said several rude things over the phone. There customer service is not a priority CLEARLY! I would NOT waste my time with this company, please look else where as I am over$2,000 of wasted money! There is several furniture stores up and down 410, I would suggest trying your luck elsewhere
Great company! Got my ice maker working within a day, very pleased and would recomend this company, Spoke with a guy on the phone named Edward who was very helpful and kind with getting us scheduled and taken care of.
I would steer clear of this company. They were hired to do warranty work on my dryer and never showed up. Our appointment was between 8 and 12. At 12:38 my husband called and of course no answer. He called multiple times throughout the day and still nothing. Finally, at 3:30 I decided to call and this man answered the phone and had a million excuses as to why they were running behind. He guaranteed me they would be out shortly. Here we are at 5:30 and still no call and the phone just rings and rings. I called my warranty company and asked them to send out someone new. I have wasted an entire day and still don't have a repaired dryer. I don't know how this company is still open.
