Shannon Medical Center

This is not a review of the healthcare at Shannon Medical Center. The Nurses and Doctors that I dealt with on the day of my ER visit were excellent. This is a review of the Business Center, specifically for ER billing. The entire business center is either willfully and purposely extorting patients or they are completely incompetent, either one is entirely unacceptable. What's worse is that I was more or less told strait up that they have to overcharge the responsible insured patients so that they can treat the "deadbeats." I have never dealt with a bigger group of horrible, morally bankrupt, people anywhere.

The amounts in the billing were completely suspect and it is impossible to get a straight answer from anyone. Everyone that you talk to has a different story about their billing policies. I can't prove fraud but I would think twice about doing business with them.

Hey have been in this hospital alot because of the illness that I have staff are pretty cool and most of the nurses are nice and pretty cool and om a scale from 1 to 10 j give it a .5 over all this hospital is the best in sanangelo forget community hospital
