This bank has always help my family, very friendly people that work in this branch, always having smiley faces.
2. Chase Bank
I had a business check written off Chase Bank and they charged me $8.00 to cash it because I didn't have an account there. Chase bank has lost me as a customer definitely won't be opening an account there. Would not rate it 1 star, but that was the only way I could submit it.
This bank is awful. They will give you charges left and right for whatever they want and then talk you in circles when you call to try and figure out what's going on, but the cool thing about this bank is that absolutely no one knows what's going on. Normal banks let their customers know when they overdraft, this bank won't, they'll just keep charging you every week until you figure it out. They don't care about their customers. I signed a paper saying that I want to be declined instead of over drafting, so I didn't overdraft, but I got charged for the attempted purchase. I have been with this bank for so long and they have just continued to screw me over and over again. Awful awful business. They would get 0 stars if it were up to me.
I just want to be sure everyone in Texas knows to never ever use First Convenience Bank inside WalMart. I went in and asked them to close my account since I moved and not only did they put me negative they didn't close my account and didn't tell me. I found out two weeks later when they started calling to wonder how I was going to resolve the negative EIGHT HUNDRED dollars all from fees because their teller couldn't count. I am now at a negative $1200 and they refuse to take it off or even work with me. They have the worse customer service and are only out to scam all your money! If you use them now, I suggest you get your money and run, but be sure they actually close your account!
