I've had to say this on several different sites because there is a concerted effort by a small group of people to 'get back at' one of the owners of Free Wheeler Pizza by posting venomous reviews. I cannot, without any doubt, say that any negative review is one of theirs, but have a strong suspicion because the tone of these are all similar, and they harp on the same issues. One might beleive this is because they are valid statements, but because of other information I have and my being at Free Wheeler every couple of weeks, I know that some of these claims are ridiculous. Please do not validate their vindictiveness by automatically believing these reviews. I truly hope you simply visit Free Wheeler, without even buying anything, to see for yourself that these claims are false. And if they are not false, and I'm the one trying to manipulate people, then you will see this immediately and can walk out without losing one red cent. I also want to state up front that I do have a personal relationship with Free Wheeler Pizza, but that I have no financial stake in the business and have not been paid to write this. All I want to do with this review is warn people that there is an effort out there to ruin the good name of Free Wheeler Pizza.

I always order the BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad. It never disappoints and is so refreshing on these wicked hot summer days. My SIL got the Waldorf and it looked fantastic--I *MAY* branch out next time. (No promises.) This time we also ordered the fried mac and cheese for an appetizer. It was mediocre ...but don't get me wrong, I still finished it! Because HELLO, It's friend mac and cheese. I was sorely disappointed to learn that they only serve Diet Pepsi and not Diet Coke. FAIL. I had to get 2 limes to even survive. Our server was wonderful. We never saw the bottom of our glasses and our food came out perfectly and quickly. My SIL taught me a new trick too that I have to share: Order the wheat pita bread (it is SOOOO good!) with sides of honey and butter. Mix them together to make honey butter. You will NOT be disappointed.
Nightmare On 13th is the best haunted house in Utah! Their attraction is top notch and very unique. No13 doesn't rely on shock value with over the top gory displays or using familiar characters from movies. They design their own themes and let the suspense and the expertise of their actors. The actors are very professional and get into their characters very well. I've been to other houses where either the line was too crowded or the actors would break character. That would kill it for me but not at Nightmare. They are always in character no matter what. You need to come here every October! They have been changing their themes every year so it's alway fresh and new.
Dear Parents and students: If Master Overman gives you an invitation to test for belt level, I strongly suggest that you take that opening. For I have seen the change and confidence in my own child. With each belt level, I find more respect towards me, my wife and people in general. It really seems to be a very important part of my childs advancement in her physical and mental beiing. I've seen the change. So, if asked to test, do it ! The gain is awesome. Sincerely - A more than pleased parent J. Hudson. - May 2004
I've been a customer of the Train Shoppe for many years now, and have always found them to be extremely helpful and courteous. They've always answered my questions professionally, even we they have been busy. The new store is very nice and has all sorts of fun things for the grand kids to do including an indoor train ride! Again I consider myself lucky to have a quality model railroad shop close by that actually has a good selection of items and knowledgeable, friendly staff to help me when I need it.
Whatever you want to do at a bar, Batters Up has it to offer. The patio is exceptional and a great place to have lunch while watching sports on the tv's outside. There is pool, darts, shuffle board, and the most awesome BIG GAME HUNTER that is state of the art. Tuesday nights they do karaoke and now they will be having a CARD READER as well. Live bands on Saturday nights that play blues, jazz, and rock n roll. All this and then you throw in great employees and wonder...why would you go anywhere else?
I started using xmission to support a local business, but stayed because their service is outstanding! All the benefits of working with a small local company, but their service cannot be beat. They update clients about changes to their servers, outages, new services. Their support - both online and telephone - is quick, helpful and friendly. I'm not the most computer savvy person, but I know that they have always been willing to help me and do not make me feel stupid. I highly recommend them!
I'm from New Jersey and am a pizza conisuer. No offense, but it has been a challenge to find good pizza in the Salt Lake Area. Whenever I am near Manhattan, I take a trip into Lombardi's, which is the original pizza establishment in New York. Settebello is the closest I've had to Lombardi's. Authentic Italian pies, that are simply delicious. Make sure to save room for the deserts. I had a lemon ice (forget the actual name) that was wonderful. If you love pizza, definately go visit.
It is kind of unknown place off of 2200 West by the SLC airport. Across from the Radisson Hotel. Light thin crust, best sauce, and a variety of toppings. They cook it in a real stone pizza oven. They have great salads with house vinaigrette salad dressings. They have a flat bread with Parmesan and garlic basted with the best marinara sauce I've ever had. Usually isn't over busy. Has TV's to watch games and a fireplace. If you like thin crust pizza, this is the one to try.
I love the porcupine..great ambiance.. great food... and a great selection of beers on tap. Their brunch on saturday and sunday is always a favorite. Everything is moderately priced and if your not satisfied they will fix it! Tuesdays are a good day to go in because it is $2 beer all day and if you make it there at 4 to 6 on monday thru friday...their apps are half off! Great place to go after you come down from the slopes! Definantly will go back!
