Freaking amazing beef Lo Mein. the ham fried rice gets 6 stars. Pho is good too.Highly recommend.
NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY! We placed two orders of vegetarian pho from these guys, and when we got home we saw they put beef in it. The restaurant was going to close before we'd have time to go back, so we called them about it. The woman acknowledged that we'd ordered vegetarian, but was incredibly rude from the get-go, and began to argue, saying out of nowhere that after taking our order for vegetarian pho she asked if we ordered beef (again, after already acknowledging that we'd ordered vegetarian in the first place: surreal) and that we had said yes, which again, we hadn't. She continued to be incredibly rude and argumentative, at this point just trying to cover her own... instead of admitting the mistake. If we'd gotten that much, we could've let it slide. People make mistakes, but starting out rude and then trying to backpedal about our acknowledged order for baffling reasons is ridiculous. So, due to unparalleled rudeness, weird backpedaling, and a complete disregard for whether customers actually get what they order, we will never go back here again. We'll also be sure to tell friends and visitors to steer clear. Order at your own risk. What you order may well not be what you get, and good luck talking to them about it.
Outstanding take out. The vermicelli salad is excellent. The Spring rolls are truly authentic Vietnamese. ❤️ delicious!
Thrilled to have such fine food within our neighborhood with easy walking access. The Spring Rolls and the Flat Noodles with Beef are top notch and comparable with Los Angeles and Dallas cafes.
The food is OK, but the service is terrible!!We got our food to go, but they sent us home with someone else' food. When we went back they knew they'd made the mistake because the other family had come back with our food already. I didn't want food that someone else took home, especially now that it was cold but they refused to remake it. There wasn't even an apology, or offer for a free appetizer. I don't know when I've had a worse customer service experience.
Order Pho from here last night. Taste pretty good but did not finish. Visited because of the food network pieces. Later on when i went to heat back up notice that it was not a jelly like true Pho. Where can i get the true bone broth Pho soup?.
I previously would have given this location a 4 stars, but after tonight's experience, I can only give it a one star. I have been eating at Cafe Trang since the 1990's- at the old location on 9th s I think and then the one at Cottonwood mall. I am a loyal customer. Tonight I found a hair in my Malaysian Rice Noodles with yellow curry. It was not my hair. I have long, curly medium colored hair and this was short, straight and dark. It was gross. I was about halfway done with my dish. My server apologized and took away the dish. He gave us our check. I was expecting either a partial compensation or another plate of food (a half size portion would have been great, since that was what was left), but he did neither. I then told who I guess is the manager as we were leaving, telling him that it was hard to want to remain a customer when nothing was done about hair in the food. He said ok and we walked out the door. i can tell you that even though I previously at at this location monthly, I won't be there again. I did speak to the manager of the downtown location and he was very gracious. He also informed me that this location has different owners, so when I am craving that good Vietnamese food, I'll head downtown. Its a bit of a drive, but worth it for me.
