The SLC USPS sorting facility is the #1 most incompetent branch of USPS. My package came in from Oklahoma (Western Wyoming bound) and was processed at the SLC facility. It should have come directly here, that's how it works when they send it correctly. Instead they sent it to Denver, CO. Denver sent it back to them because they don't come this way, so now SLC has it again. THIS time the SLC USPS send it to... KENTUCKY???
USPS is extremely difficult to deal with if you have a problem. Their main Customer Service number gets you less than nothing. Go to local numbers to find real people who care. In SLC, call 801-974-2332, same for nearby areas like western Wyoming.
They have very, very nice employees, there is never a line, and they have a beautiful store. I really like this.
This post office is unlike the others I've visited in Utah. Not in a good way. No tape? No labels? No pens??? No smiles? Ugh. My sister and I went in to send a package to Denmark. We don't know how to ship internationally, so it would have been nice if the grumpy older gentleman would have helped us, rather than try and run us out. I usually use the sugarhouse office. They tape your package, they have pens and labels and they help you with a smile. Maybe some cross training of offices would be helpful?
Not only are my packages not coming anywhere near the delivery time schedule but they take forever to find the package when you open a case. I ordered a Christmas tree from Idaho and (Fed Ex)had it in my house in 3 days.
I have never had worst customer service in my life not to mention it's been three weeks and I still haven't gotten my package they suck so bad use UPS or FedEx no matter what
This phone number directs you to a very confusing automated service. Do not use. You can't get a hold of people if you have a unique problem. My package has been stuck there for a while and I can't find out how to fix the problem. Maybe the people are great. I don't know since I can't get a hold of one.
The Manager if it really was him was rude and childish. So i reported him and took my complaint to the post master.Both my mail man and the so called manager are rude and only have proven to me that they don't care about any one.I am going paperless just so i wont have to deal with the mail man ever again.And if they send junk mail ill just mark it with return to sender. Save some trees in the process.Its really kind of too bad.My last mail man was awesome and in return got tips on holidays.Not this mail man.All he will be getting is a complaint to the post master.
