I've never had such a dedicated salesman as Hyrum Strong. As someone that shops around a lot to make sure I get the best deal possible, let me assure you that Hyrum will do everything in his power to get you an amazing deal. Which is made possible by all the rebates that Ken Garff is willing to do.I was sold on Hyundai (especially the Elantras) in 2010 when I did months of research to find out what would be the best car for me. Elantras have won numerous awards for safety and just generally being amazing vehicles. I learned back then that Hyundai's are generally less expensive to repair than, say, the Honda I had been tempted by. They're incredibly reliable. I put 70,000 miles on my 2010, and never had to do any repairs. At an average of 32 miles per gallon, you're only really going to beat the fuel economy by going hybrid (which you could get a hybrid Sonata, by the way).What I didn't realize when I meandered onto the lot was how much Elantras have changed in the four years since I bought my first. Hyrum was very well educated on the new features that Hyundai has adopted. But it wasn't just that which made Hyrum an excellent person to work with, it was the fact that he listened. When I explained that I suck at backing up, he responded by showing me the upgrade from the base model that has a back up camera. When I said I didn't need certain features, we moved on to the car that had what I'd asked for. I don't like being sold things I don't need, and I didn't need to ever explain that to Hyrum. He taught me the pros and cons of features instead of just proclaiming that I needed it all.I don't think I need to go off on all of the features Hyundai has added (since Hyrum can do that for you). I would like to mention, though, that Hyrum taught me how to use the features. Instead of just saying "The new Elantras have Shiftronic!" he explained to me what it was. I think we've all had experiences with salespeople that didn't really know much about the product. I had the opposite experience with Hyrum, he knew about each of the features and was able to point them out on our test drive.Having said all this, I have one final word of praise to give Hyrum. Patience. He had to wait for me as I called my dad, then my mom, then my brother, then my brother in law.... and then wait for my mom to arrive on the scene with the intent (which she admitted immediately) of talking me out of buying a new car. A typical salesman would try to get me away from my mom, the dissenter. Or they would have warped things to be in their favor. But Hyrum showed that he truly wanted what was best for me. He could see that I had the situation handled and didn't try to get in between us, and offered help when I needed it. And in the end... my mom agreed it was the best decision to make. She even offered me money to help out with buying the car.A good salesman is looking out for you, making sure that you're pleased, not only with the experience, but with the result. Hyrum has made sure that I'm taken care of. When I've had questions about the car, he's been more than happy to answer them. I am in love with my car, and Ken Garff Hyundai has made a life long customer.
We had to use the emergency room at the hospital. While the doctors and technicians were professional and we received good care, I cannot give 5 stars due to their billing practices. They have 5 levels of emergencies, and I can't find out who decides what level you are. My husband had a panic attack/anxiety which was labeled a level 3 out of 5. The total bill was $867 for the hospital + $160 for the doctor. They don't tell you the doctor will be separate, they don't tell you how much anything will cost, and you aren't given any options for treatment. They just bill you later, at which point trying to figure out what you were billed for is impossible. The bill does not come itemized, it's lump sum, and you can't get them to separate the bill because (I was told) a level three is just $867, doesn't matter what it was for or what equipment you required. The bill is turned over to a third party who cannot tell you anything about your bill other than the total amount due and the date you were billed. The hospital says they will assign a nurse to review your case, but they never do. Beware when going in here that nobody will tell you upfront what the cost will be. And if you're one day late on the payment, they call it due in full! We have a high deductible plan and ended up paying for most of this ourselves. I guess they just think they can bill insurance whatever cost and they'll pay, but not all of us are fully covered so we need to start asking how much it will cost so hospitals can't just bill you for whatever.
I bought my BMW from them. It drives like a dream! When I took it on a Test Drive I noticed that the spark plug light was on. I decided to buy the car. In the contract they said that after service dept. looks at car If they see they need replacing they will do so. It has been 7 months since I bought the car, during that time I only put maybe 2,000 miles. This month I put a long drive on the car out to Oregon. I started having a lot of issues with the car. Mostly just small things. One of the problems was the spark plug light and also ma misfire. The shop showed me the plugs and said they need replacing. I was hmm, I guess the service guys did not change them. After a call back to Ken Garff Hyundai, I spoke to the main guy, and guess what; he is making good and paying to have them to be replaced!!! Yea they didnt do it the first time and they could of told me to kick rocks its been 7 months. This is why customer service is top notch here. Thanks guys!!!
I am a pharmacist at Gibsons Pharmacy. The previous negative comment was the result of a negligent physician writing inappropriate and dangerous prescriptions involving the reviewer. As a result, we did talk about the physician in order to make a decision on how to proceed. Everything that was discussed was relayed in a face-to-face conversation with the patient, and via telephone conversation to the physician. Choosing to disagree with and curtail negligent practices does not constitute "unprofessional" behavior, but rather shows our commitment to the safety or our patients as well as our obligation to uphold integrity in the practice of pharmacy.
First of all these guys are just awesome!!! I have been a customer for about a year now and every time I go in to make changes or pay a bill I feel so welcome there. From the first person I see to the last person I see I enjoy talking to!! I had called around all day looking for a good insurance rate and when I called these guys and new right away that they were who I wanted to get insurance through. They were so much nicer then the other places I called. They had way better rates. I was able to get insurance that day over the phone!!! I will be a loyal customer for life!!!
I love Gibsons Pharmacy. I have allergies to various medications and they always keep an eye out for me to make sure I don't take anything I'm not supposed to.Additionally, my Dr.'s office seems to be less organized and they take the time to request prescription refills etc for me. They do all the work!Lastly, Gibsons is affordable and professional. I have never had a negative experience there. In fact, while I'm there I often hear the Pharmacists and the Techs greet people by their first names. That to me shows long term, recurring business.
My wife and I had the OB write a prescription to get the 20 week anatomy scan for our pregnancy. We were in the scanning room for 45 minutes or so and the scanning technician was very friendly. She worked as a scanner both here and at a local hospital. We paid cash because it was less expensive out of pocket than messing with our insurance. We both really liked the service. This was in 2012. I saw all the bad reviews and just had to share our positive experience.
This is our second elantra we have purchased from ken garff in the last couple of years. We went there to look at new cars and because of hyrums excellent salesmanship we bought a new elantra. He was not pushy but very knowledgable about the car. Hyrum made it possible to make our finances work. He is very friendly too. Hyrum is an asset to ken garff. I would recommend everyone to see hyrum when purchasing a new vehicle.

Didn't love it. Not a great experience. I have to sell the car I bought a few weeks ago, and am quickly discovering that their promise of "the lowest price in town" is totally false. I feel pretty scammed. I will not be recommending this dealership to friends or family. In fact, I've already told a couple friends and co-workers to go elsewhere for their car buying.
