We offer silver amalgam and tooth-colored composite resin fillings for cavities. While amalgam fillings—often called metal fillings—are perfectly safe, they can impede on the beauty of your smile, in which case, its tooth-colored counterpart would be best to restore your smile. Tooth-colored or white fillings are made to match the shade of your adjacent teeth.
Resin Composite
Teeth that have been bonded don’t require additional care to keep healthy. Just brush and floss your teeth like normal, and be mindful not to bite down too forcefully or chew on anything too hard. Composite resin is strong, but it can chip and break off when exposed to extreme pressure.
Veneers
Current In Progress Smile Makeover Treatment by Dr. Warr. These are only the temporary veneers. The patient will be receiving their final set of porcelain veneers soon!
Crowns
The pulp is contained in a canal, which is a thin, tube-like space extending from the crown of the tooth to the tip of its root within the jawbone. Here the pulp connects to the tissues surrounding the root. The pulp is important while teeth are growing and developing, but when growth ceases it’s no longer necessary to the tooth’s survival. The tooth receives nourishment from the blood supply surrounding it.
Bridges
Complete dentures are used to replace teeth where there are no teeth remaining. A partial denture is a removable dental appliance that replaces multiple missing teeth. It can be attached to the existing teeth with clasps, or with crowns and bridges.
Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is just one of the cosmetic treatments we offer to patients in the Salt Lake City area. To learn more about our smile enhancement services, please call Warr Dental today at 801-355-5385 to schedule a free consultation.
Restorative Dentistry
TMD/TMJ occurs as a result of excessive strain on the jaw muscles, which is caused when the jaw itself is misaligned. There are many factors that can cause TMJ/TMD, such as stress or worn-down areas of your teeth. Once this misalignment occurs, it impacts the bones, teeth, and muscles. Only when all three components are balanced and physiologically healthy are you able to enjoy optimal comfort, which could improve through restorative dentistry measures.
Inside each tooth, under the white enamel and a hard layer called dentin, is soft pulp. It contains blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue. Endodontics is the area of dentistry that deals with this tooth interior, to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases or injury to it.
Several studies have linked gum disease to severe health concerns such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Gum treatment can involve deep cleaning, medications, gum re-contouring, bone and tissue grafting, and surgery. Aging adults are at a higher risk of gum disease, especially if they have uncontrolled diabetes.

Invisalign Orthodontics
Orthodontics: If your main concern is crooked or crowded teeth, orthodontics such as traditional braces, clear braces, or Invisalign® can give you a straightened smile. The pitfall is that orthodontic work can take anywhere from six months to several years.
Braces
When most people think of straightening their teeth, they think the only option is traditional orthodontics, or braces, which can be an expensive, time-consuming procedure involving headgear or other embarrassing appliances.
The color or brightness of your teeth can make all the difference in how your smile comes across. Stained or discolored teeth can impact your career or social life and cause you to hide behind closed lips, but our teeth-whitening products can help you achieve a smile you’re proud to show off.
