I've been getting pizza from Rocky Mountain Pizza for years, and I love it. BBQ Chicken is a favorite, and you must try the white sauce pizzas. I love how they cut the slices really small, so you can eat 4 pieces and really it's not that bad :)
I've dined in at Rocky Mountain twice... and while the buffet is a pretty good deal, I just don't really like dining there. The seats have had sauce spots, and it feels just a bit dingy.
I've always had good service, they've never forgotten or messed up my order. I call in 20 minutes before, pick up my pizza, and have a delicious pizza meal.
The pizza isn't greasy, the ingredients are good, and usually the spread of ingredients on the pizza is good. The crust is thin but firm, and they spread the sauce and cheese almost to the edges.
I live nearby, so Rocky Mountain is the most convenient pizza for me, and I'm glad it's there because I really love their pizza.

I thought I knew good pizza, but until I stepped into Rocky Mountain Pizza I had no idea something as simple as pizza could provide one of the best evenings of my life. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by the warm, friendly, and eager staff. As a vegetarian, I was hesitant to order the vegetarian pizza, as it is often bland and tasteless elsewhere. I did order it however, and OMG!!! The ingredients were warm and fresh, and the crust was nice and thin, just the way I like it. As I was eating, the owner of the restaurant personally came to greet me and asked how I was doing. I was thrilled by the personal touch and pleasant atmosphere; I felt like a valued customer, not just a number.

I first went to Rocky Mountain Pizza 2 months ago and have been there 4 times since. I had the buffet the first two times, the Summit (Vegetarian) personal pizza the third time, and the Mother Load sandwich the fourth time I went. Since I am a vegetarian, it is hard to find restaraunts with quality food that meet my needs. This place has it. The food is fresh and so delicious. The staff was also great and the atmosphere is based on Utah and outdoor sports. Definitely a cool place to come grab a beer and hang out. On Wednesdays, there is live blue grass which was a pleasant surprise. I will continue to go to Rocky Mountain and get pizza and beer. It is the best!

Great pizza and fresh salad bar! Finally Rocky Mountain Pizza is a place I love to go again. Let me start off by saying that in the past I've had bad service experiences here but I have kept going back because the food is really good. My latest experience was totally different. The service was great and the place looked awesome. I made a comment to the staff and they said the place has a new owner that is dedicated to quality pizza and great customer service. I am just happy to have my place back. It's a great place to take the family, socialize with friends, or take a date. Two thumbs way up!

I was in the area, after leaving Millcreek canyon and decided to try out Rocky Mountain Pizza. I love pizza and like to try different kinds around the Salt Lake area. When I walked in on a Sunday evening, there were no customers in the entire restaurant. I just assumed this was due to it being a slow Sunday. We proceeded to select our pizza and order. The girl as the cash register was not friendly and handed us 2 plates, which were dirty. The booth was also not on the clean side. We ordered the Indian braids. We accidentally said Indian bread and she acted like she didn't know what that was. When it was served there were no utensils and only spoons at the salad bar. I went to the counter and waited and waited and had to ask for forks until someone finally acknowledged me. The pizza came and things just got worse. We were really hungry and it just didn't taste good. It was flat. The ingredients seemed low quality and not a lot of flavor. Over all the pizza was flat and the customer service was flat. I do not plan to go back to this place ever again.

We had heard great things about Rocky Mountain Pizza. Local reviewers said it was the best on the east side. So we went to check it out one night. Biggest mistake of pizza I have ever encountered. The pizza was undercooked, this was EACH and EVERY pizza on their buffet, a total of 9 during the time we were there. Limited selection of buffet pizzas, everything contained pepperoni or just plain cheese, no combination or hawaiian pizzas to be found. For the first 20 minutes we were there, no new pizzas were added to the buffet, even with about 20-25 people in-house eating off the buffet. We waited at the counter for 5 minutes before someone noticed us, and saw several employees lounging and eating behind the counters later, breaking all kinds of food-handling laws (touching money and food without washing hands, touching hair, face, then food repeatedly, having cell phones out while prepping food). All in all, the worst pizza place I have seen in over 15 years of eating in them, and having been a manager of several over a 5 year period, I was very disappointed. A definite NEVER AGAIN.

If you think Pizza hut is real pizza then you might like Rocky Mtn pizza, but save 50% and go directly to the source. I'm from the east and this is nothing like pizza to me, and I paid almost $25 to have a large pie with diced tomatoes delivered. Crazy. I love Utah and I hope someday to find great pizza here. In the meantime I'll enjoy the hiking and eat pizza when I'm out of town.
