General Info

The Division of Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a part of the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation. Located in Salt Lake City, the division provides vocational rehabilitation services, as well as a multitude of training and adjustment services, such as computer evaluation and training and daily living skills. It also offers home repair courses, low-vision screening camps, and magnification and other assistive aids. The division additionally provides independent living services to senior citizens with visual impairments. The Utah State Office of Rehabilitation also operates the Division of Rehabilitation Services, which assists and empowers eligible individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain meaningful employment.
