This place has got to have the best dried fruit and nuts ever. Althoguh i am not a huge candy connoisseur I have tried some of their gummy items and other candy products and they are pretty dang good as well. It sounds like they had some issues with groupon, but what company hasn't that's done deals with them. Its all over the news. Anyway I have been going to their warehouse for years to get their products. Their stuff is always the freshest and best quality and I know, i've eating it for years and am still a very loyal customer.

I have been going to The Nutty Guys for quite some time now. This is a fantastic company and their products are the BEST! I have always been a walk in and have never ordered online. I have NEVER walked out without a bag full. The variety is HUGE and the staff is Extreemly helpful, friendly and fair. I have recommended them to many others and will contunue to do so, You don't know what you are missing until you try at least one of everything they offer :) I go there at least 3 times a month and will most likely continue to do so in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, too, am one of the people that had a, potentially, bad Groupon experience. I had actually placed the order AND PAID, when the website disappeared. Nutty Guys did not drive their own web site -- but, no matter. My order, and my money were somewhere in the ether. I contacted Nutty Guys directly, and IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT THEY HAD NOT RECEIVED MY FUNDS, completed and sent my order right away. I cannot say enough about a company that provides this level of customer service. I will definitely order from them again -- and anxiously await their presence, again, on the internet.

We've purchased products from Nutty Guys for a number of years. We've always been very pleased with their service, and the quality of their products.
Today, three people at their warehouse spent a fair bit of time finding bags of extra large cashews and dried sweet cherries for me. I'll definitely buy from them again. They saved our Christmas candy making by going the extra mile.

Stole my money in the beginning of September - never sent my order. I assumed Groupon would research their clients a little better. Groupon returned my money, but I'll never see the $20 I gave to the Nutty Guy thieves. Live and learn, I guess! I'll always use a credit card instead of a debit card from now on.

Website is closed...they are charging you and not sending out orders. Better Business Bureau has many complaints....do not order nor give them any money. They charged my card for an order Sept 6th and no order showed up but I'm out the $38.!!!!!!!!

Don't offer yourself to the public if you are unable to serve them then. Website still down, but they for sure were able to process my credit card. Called and they said 'they have changed owners and will get my order to me within the next few weeks' Worst business model ever. Thank God for Groupon. I have never written a negative review in my life, but this company has failed every customer for the last few months and the public needs to know. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BUSINESS, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU NOTHING IN RETURN

I've been using Nutty Guys for over 5 years. They have been wonderful to work with. Their web site has had issues and they have had to rebuild. The sheer volume from Groupon they are dealing with has set them back along with a ton of other stuff. All I can say is their products are fantastic at a very fair price. Be patient, give them some time to work through the barrage of problems they have been dealing with. Give them another chance. Once they get back on top, you will love them as much as I do.

Unlike many of you who are freaking out I remained calm and looked up the phone number online for Nutty Guys. A very polite lady answered and explained that they are under new ownership and are creating a new website. If you do not wish to wait for the new website (up to 4 weeks) you may call the following number for a Groupon refund.
My goodness people - don't be so haughty!
I used my Groupon Coupon w/success, matter of fact I bought two of them and just recently placed my 3rd & 4th order with Nutty Guys. The 3rd order was the August 50% off special on 8/230/11. Placed a rather large order not using Groupon. Still no nuts. Thought it was an anomloy so I placed another order in September using my 2nd and about to expire Groupon coupon. Still Waiting. Like others I tried to access the site via search, then via an email confirm from them, then via Groupon . Like others, I found that I couldn't find them. This is so weird. I'm not worried about the costs: Groupon will refund, believe me. They are great. And muy credit card company is really great about things like this. It's more of a surprise and a big disappointment . I swear: I am the kiss of death to anything worth buying. In every catagory in every system (retail store or on line) if I like it and buy it frequently it will be discontinued or disappear or other. From favorite coffee , hard cooked eggs found @ Trader Joes, Soy cheee at Whole Foods. Cabbots chees @ Shaws to Baggies at Target. Pet Smart dog coats, dog collars & leads to cat food. Nuts.
If I like it, it will be discontinued. Never buy stocks I buy, either.....
I also could not use my Nutty Guys Groupon. I contacted Groupon through their website and reported the problem. Their repsonse was immediate and very friendly. They are working with Nutty Guys to address the problems, but they also offered an immediate refund of my purchase. I accepted the refund and it is already in my account.
Even though this is a problem with Nutty Guys, Groupon rocks when it comes to customer service.
I discovered this company through Groupon. I actually purchased their Groupon . I tried to place an order from their website with no success. I thought their website might have been experiencing difficulties, so I came back a few days later to find their website gone. I called them and left messages for a sales rep and the supervisor to call me so that I could place an order by phone, and use my Groupon before it expired. No one has returned my call. It looks as though I'm not the only one to have this experience. I was totally ripped off. You would think that someone could at the very least return a phone call with an explanation.
I just spoke to someone in Utah about the order that I placed 3 weeks ago and my friend never received it. I was told the online Nutty Guys is completely different from their store and that the online site is out of business. She told me I would need to contact my credit card company to receive a refund from them(I payed extra) and that I would need to contact Groupon to get a refund from them. This whole thing has been extremely frustrating and needless to say, not worth it! Groupon worked with me and gave me a refund, but nothing has happened with the extra money I spent. Unfortunately, I was gifted this groupon, along with purchasing a couple myself. UGH! I would not recommend this company, because at the very least, if they are restructuring like they are telling the Groupon people, then they could answer their phones and inform their customers of whats going on and what to expect!

I ordered nuts in August because Nutty had a half price sale. The nuts were not delivered because the pistachios were not in stock. After trying to contact customer service by phone (they never answered my call and never returned my messages), I contacted customer service by e-mail. I received a message from Jamie apologizing for the delay. She reported that the shipment problem was resolved and that the nuts would be shipped after the Labor Holiday. So far....no nuts! Now ...no more web site! and Nutty is not answering their phone!

I also purchased 2 of this deal off of Groupon. I checked the website to make sure it was real. It said the coupon could not be used until 9/11/11 at noon. So I immediately went on there on 9/11/11 afternoon....The website in no longer there and when I called the phone number it was disconnected!! Amazing! What a scam this was! I cannot believe that a company would do this to over 300 people! (thats how many Groupon said purchased it) I sure learned my lesson! I emailed Groupon saying I want a refund today and I will update you when I hear back!

I too purchased a groupon from Nutty guy, thinking it would be a nice treat for the upcoming holidays. I've tried to acces their site for the past month and it keeps saying they will be up soon, when?? How is anyone else ordering if the site is not working? Did anyone cancel their item on groupon and get their money back?
