I have been looking for a great groomer for my Pomeranian "Stevie" that didn't cost 75.00 or more around where I live and I was on Facebook taylorsville yard sale and someone mentioned DogMode so after researching and finding out the location and cost. To my surprise it's less then a 4 minute ride from my house. And to get a cut shampoo the works it was only 35.00 and that's including the five dollar tip. And a much better job then Pets M--t. With me being on disability I have limited funds, but I can afford to get his hair done monthly. GREAT WORK DOG MODE TWO THUMBS UP. THANK YOU AMANDA YOU ROCK!
I have been bringing my girl Molly here since August of 2011 and I have been bringing my other two rescue dogs here for the past couple of years. All my dogs LOVE coming to daycare and to stay the night. I have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff at Dogmode over the past 4 1/2 years. The facility is clean and HUGE and the staff always know my dogs even if they don't know me :) I will not take my pups anywhere else!
This is the BEST dog place I've been to in Salt Lake area! It is big, immaculately clean, huge play area with attendants right in play area monitoring all the dogs, pool, day care, boarding, self wash stalls if you want to bathe your dog yourself, grooming, boarding, tv cameras everywhere so you can check your dog out online, and the politely, helpful employees. One of my dogs is very shy with new people, but she took to her groomer immediately, which tells me she was gently and lovingly handled. I keep hearing about this place. Wish I'd checked it out earlier.
My dog loves to go to DogMode! They are always happy to see her and remember both of our names. I especially love that when I pull up in the morning they are right there to pick her up, I don't even have to get out of the car. Talk about convenient!
I feel good leaving her there for boarding too because I know they'll call if anything happens and I can see her playing on the webcams. They'll even bathe her before I pick her up, it's great. Occasionally I'll use their dog wash too, it's deep enough for my tall pup and their soaps are gentle on her skin. I'm just glad that it's not my tub getting covered in fur!
The customer service is amazing and my dog is happy and healthy. What more could I ask for?
Oh a pool! Luckily that's coming soon too, I'm excited for that to give us another reason to visit DogMode.
DogMode is my dog's home away from home, everyone there knows my dogs by name and just about every other dog too! DogMode is also extremely BEAUTIFUL and very well kept! It's probably nicer than the hotels that I get to stay at while on vacation. It feels good to leave my dogs there and I know they will all be pooped when the come home from all the play they got with their doggy friends. Plus they have pools, how fun! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

It saddened me to read this review on bloat. I have been bringing my dogs to Dogmode for the past nine years and can say with total confidence that it is the best daycare/boarding facility in the state and possibly even in the country. It is important that everyone knows a little bit about bloat.
#1 it can happen anywhere! It can easily happen while your dog is at home, on a camping trip, or at a kennel. Bloat takes the lives of over 50% of its victims and is in no way the fault of a human.
The technical name for bloat is ""Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus"" (""GDV""). Bloating of the stomach is often related to swallowed air (although food and fluid can also be present). It usually happens when there's an abnormal accumulation of air, fluid, and/or foam in the stomach (""gastric dilatation""). Stress can be a significant contributing factor also. Bloat can occur with or without ""volvulus"" (twisting). As the stomach swells, it may rotate 90? to 360?, twisting between its fixed attachments at the esophagus (food tube) and at the duodenum (the upper intestine). The twisting stomach traps air, food, and water in the stomach. The bloated stomach obstructs veins in the abdomen, leading to low blood pressure, shock, and damage to internal organs. The combined effect can quickly kill a dog
After bloat is detected you have less than an hour to get to a vet to have surgery started. Most dog owners are unfamiliar with bloat and in most cases do not get them to the vet in time for a successful surgery.
In this case Dogmode could easily be responsible for saving this dogs life. If the dog was at home when bloat occurred the chance of survival goes down drastically. Like I said Dogmode is THE best in the state. I would never take my dogs anywhere else. The friendly staff at Dogmode treats their customers as well as their furry babies like family. Keep up the great work Dogmode!!
