I just had one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time with Marine Products. It started with my call being cut off twice by folks who did not know how to operate their phone system. When I finally got a tech to look for a part he insisted that my engine serial number was wrong (it's correct and the only serial number I have). I finally convinced him to simply look for the part since it likely is the same over multiple years. He said, "They probably don't make it anymore." Nice. I know they make it because I can order it on ebay. But he looked and found it (it's a seal that Nissan and Tohatsu have been using for 20 years or more). He came back on the line and informed me that it would cost me $10 but that they didn't have it and so it would cost me another $5 shipping. (This from a Tohatsu dealer). So I guess I'm back to ebay. These guys are the reason that brick and mortar stores are going out of business.
