Do not work here. The hiring manager will lie straight to your face. He told me i would only be on nights until contract expires. What he didnt say is they r always on night contracts and the few day jobs they do have have a giant waiting list for. Furthermore they do not pay overtime. They found a loop pole that makes it legit or so they say. I still gave it a chance because he said they pay the highest of any other dump truck job at 17 am hour. It was my first local job so i didnt know any better. 17 is very very low. Found more than one company since that pays 20 per hour. They r thieves. Dont work here until they treat people better. I mean really 60 hrs a week and no overtime. Someone is getting rich and its not the drivers.

We are selling our house and had some small leaks to fix based on our home inspection. The company called to change the first appointment the day of because they overbooked. So there is strike 1. Then they came out to fix our leaks as said. Took them 45 min. The next day we receive our bill, and it is $267 for 2 small leaks. I thought it was very high and upon looking at the bill, we were charged not only 1.5 hours for what they did (only there for 45 min), we were charged that twice because they had 2 technicians there. When I called and asked about it the owner of the company (John) and told him that those leaks did not require 2 technicians, he proceeded to tell me that the job after ours requires 2 so it didn't make sense to leave one guy at the shop and then have to go back and get him later, so they both came to my house...that is not ok. I am not responsible for the job after mine. If my job is small enough to require only one person than I should be charged just for that person doing the job and only for the 45 min it required! Also, found out that they found a leak in the shower (we did not ask or tell them to fix this!) and they took it upon themselves to fix that leak instead of the original leak on the master bathtub so they called my realtor and made another appointment to come back out and fix the original leak that was supposed to be fixed. This company is rude and unprofessional and will try to rip you off any chance they get! DO NOT hire these crooks!
Do not work this person in any capacity. His word can not be trusted. He does not pay bills for work performed by contractors who have given him a deal because of his mistake, and he then slanders them on the internet. Just a bad businessman - AVOID!

Avoid this company . They don't come when they say they will . And get mad because aren't there to get your shipment . Nobody has any clue what is going on . They are a waste of your time and money .
In a construction zone on I-77 southbound. The operator was traveling at excessive speed in the middle lane. The middle lane of traffic began to slow and he aggressively switched back into the right merging lane with turn signal. He than proceed to place his left hand out of the driver side window and waive a vulgar signal to passing traffic. Noticing that he was in a merging lane he proceeded to aggressively merge back into the right lane nearly causing a accident. Traffic around him slowed and he proceed to cut across 3 lanes to the far left lane. This lane was also ending due to construction and merges down to 2 lanes. He realized his second mistake and it was at this point that he merged directly into my lane without use of turn signal. I merged into the far right lane to avoid his aggressive lane switch and proceeded to pass him on the right as traffic slowed. I accessed my phone and took a picture of his truck id on the right side. He noticed that and proceeded fan a vulgar hand signal at my vehicle. I merged to the right and was able to get some distance from him but traffic slowed and he passed my vehical and merged back into my lane. I merged back into the left lane to proceed down the highway. His truck was now about 1/8 of a mile ahead of me in the center lane. As traffic speed increased I eventually caught up with him. When I was within 10' or less he swerved back into my lane without using turnsignal cause me to nearly lose control of my vehicle. The highway went back to 3 lanes and I was able to manuver around him and proceed to my destination. I tried to contact the company (DDM Transport Salt lake City, UTAH) but their listed number is disconnected. I did google the company and found this link that was another complaint very similiar experience to mine earlier this month. This guy drives a 53' semi like a Ferarri.
In a construction zone that was 45mph instead of the usual 55 mph, he rode everyone's tail while whipping his trailer back and forth between lanes. There was slow traffic everywhere on highway 370 in Nebraska and no where to speed up yet he continued to drive in the most unsafe and aggressive way possible. This review is geared toward the business structure more than anything else with Jared Shupe Constuction. We just completed building a home with Jared Shupe and the home is more than exceptional. It is almost exactly what we pictured and is customized to our liking. Of course, there were some hiccups along the way that were resolved but I think that happens with most all builders.The issue we had was with our property the home was built on. We purchased an upgraded lot and expected most if not all of the lot to be usable. Since the foundation was poured, we asked Jared Shupe to remove the Mountain in our back yard, it extended nearly 30 square feet inside our property. We did not want to pay for the lot if it was not mostly usable. A big concern we had was not being able to place a fence around our yard because of the mountain. We tried reasoning and negotiating with him, but his answer was always no. We were upset because we could not speak with him directly. It was always through a chain of people. They were not transparent and did not give us any reasoning behind their unwillingness to comply. All we heard is no, we will not do this. We knew the reasoning though. They were upset because of the contracted price we agreed to. We believe they thought the price was too low and they wanted us to pay more to grade our lot better. WE WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THIS FROM THEM UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. This was only an assumption on our end, but it has rung true through the entire building process.We finally came to an agreement that they would pay the excavator for one hour of work and that we would be responsible to pay the rest. We agreed immediately. Had this conversation happened at the beginning of the process when we first brought it up, both parties would have been satisfied and hard feelings would not have been there.I respect him as a person and like I said, we are satisfied with his work. Our home is nearly exactly how we wanted it and we do not have any complaints with that. Our only complaint is transparency. We feel we were treated unfairly and that they lack professionalism.
