This was by far the absolute worst child care center my son has ever attended. Being a young girl myself how can you tell me that the staff is allowed to wear shorts short enough to expose their butt cheeks?! I have personally had to even call out the teachers who weren't in my sons room to stop yelling at children because I watched as a four year old sat scared and frightened while getting screamed at for something very small. The staff is extremely unprofessional. Even down to the director! I will say that not every teacher is that way but a good 95% is. When an injury occurs don't expect to have a real incident report because you're going to get "I don't know" or "he must've fell into a toy." Needless to say if negative stars could be given they would. My son was pulled from the daycare in less than a month and I personally made a call to the state regarding the matter.
best place i have been to in a long timegreat hours, clean center, she doesn't keep staff on if they are load, food is amazing, the staff has been their 10 plus years, if i ever need help they are always trying to help me.. my kids have learned so much at this center.
I don't know why there aren't any recent reviews of this place, but I thought I'd write one.We love Sunshine House/Puddle Jumpers.Their playgrounds are fantastic and well maintained. The classrooms are warm and bright and integrate a lot of Montessori elements without the rigid ethos. That said, my favorite part of this childcare center is the teachers. They have made my son's first experience with daycare a very positive one. They are kind, responsive, and skilled.I'm so glad one of my husband's co-workers recommended this place. It's tucked away from the road so I'd have never seen it and so close to work I can peek in on my breaks to see my little guy play and make friends.I love their extensive background checks and the security that comes with using a national chain.
where to start?....... the director is fake know it all that pretends that she is the best in the business, and loves to gossip (never tell her something that you do not want everybody else to know, parent or staff) she does not have an actual degree in child care( only a CDA below an associates degree) she lies and gilts people to manipulate her staff, likes talking behind your back. the building is filthy(especially the restrooms), and dilapidated, they have been "remodeling" classrooms to try to cover up the fact that the facility and its utilities are outdated and substandard, the building also has a tense negative feeling, the childcare kitchen is dirty and under equipped. the only good thing about this place is most of the "teachers" are good loving people that do their best to provide a safe caring place despite bad leadership.please do not take this review lightly, this review is based on a everyday view of the inner workings and behind the scenes of first baptist child care.
This is a response to Amanda S. This is Kid Care Co in Salt Lake City . We have searched our records and we have no record of a parent or child with this name. Also, we have not lost any children in our center . We believe this review is not ment towards our center. Our teachers are well trained. Our center is partnered with Headstart and other government grants. We have government officials coming in and out of our building checking on our teachers everyday. Our center has a high demand for care in our infant/toddler classes.
This is in response to Amanda S. comment. We have searched our records and cannot find any record of this parents name, further more, we are proud to say that we have not lost any of our enrolled children in the past months. Our staff is very loving and enjoys their job as caregivers. I am certain this comment was either made up or made for another center. Our center is very well maintained and our parents and children are very happy.
Every parent who reads the reviews has to be really skeptical. I was thrilled to put my baby in that facility. Specially from all the positive reviews, but, after a while I started seeing things I didn't like. When I went to the director she would say, "it is normal"? that's all she had to say. Some of the teachers look like they don't want to be there. I feel sometimes as if they are herding sheep. If they are there, they are supposed to be active with them all of the time, playing, teaching, etc.. Not just sitting, which I found they were doing most of the time. There is also a big gap in communication that needs to be fixed. At first I thought the post on "conscious mom" was exaggerating but I may now think she's right. The right thing to do of kidcare co would have been to offer her an apology and REALLY mean it and try not to let it happen again. Because, that obviously was lack of communication on their part. Instead of trying to defend itself because one post tainted their 5 star rating. It maybe that the bad teachers need to be removed or their needs to be better communication because all else is good. It is a clean place, which you rarely find. To sum it all up, My baby isn't there anymore but remember their teachers can make or break you.
My children went to Children's Corner for years and now my grand child does. When I saw the neg. reviews I asked the owners what was going on. They told me that some vindictive people were not happy because we asked them to leave because of aggressive behavior or for turning them over to collections. I would highly recommend Children's Corner.
Our son has been at KKC since he was 4 months old. The first, more convenient daycare we chose, lasted for less than a month. A co-worker suggested KKC because it was near our office and conveniently located right off of the freeway. My son is now 19+ months old and we are having to take him out of KKC due to him having a severe peanut allergy. It has been one of the hardest decisions my husband and I have had to make. KKC has been part of our son's extended family and they have cared for him as such. He has always been eager to join his teachers and friends, and there are days that he isn't ready to leave. We tried desperately to find a daycare option that lived up to KKC and that could accommodate our needs. To no avail, as I am now leaving my position to stay home with him. KKS's facility appeared much cleaner and more equipped than other daycare settings we visited. They appear to have a close knit group of employees and director(s) who are easy to work with and professional. They did everything they could do accommodate our son's eating restrictions while he was was there, but unfortunately for us, they are not a nut-free facility. Our son is bright, happy, inquisitive and social, and we credit KKC for helping him grow. Overall we have been very pleased with our experience and the care of our little boy and would like to see more daycares adhere to this standard.
Horrible horrible Child Care Center. The director is okay- nice enough and outgoing but she does not seem to know much about childcare although she acts like it. Overheard her bad-mouthing a teacher ! She said she took Childhood Development courses, but don't you need an actual degree in order to actually run a Day Care? It's pretty funny they call it a Preschool when the so-called teachers did not attend school nor do they have certifications to teach. The teachers are horrible. I have overheard a few teachers talking about usage of illegal drugs. That did it for me. I practically ran away. Who in the right mind would leave their child with people that are highly unstable? They dress very unprofessionally and none of them seem to how much knowledge about children. My husband and I decided we would sacrifice our work to stay home with our child until he can actually start Preschool. The facility also is very poor-doesn't seem like they clean it too often and it's very old. I saw one of the children playing with a toy and it did not look like it had been washed in ages.Thank you FBCCC for being such a horrible facility. Moms out there, do a thorough check before you enroll your children. Teachers should be drug tested and the facility really needs to be well kept. I also heard the teacher turnover was pretty bad. That obviously sums up the workplace environment/ Overall, my experience at this Day Care has strongly encouraged me to stay away from Day Cares. The teachers are not certified nor do they have knowledge. They are just babysitters watching and playing with kids I have also seen many of the teachers favor a certain child. Not all of the young and innocent children receive the care and attention they need. I, myself am staying away from Day Cares.
