Good customer service but there always seems to be something a bit wrong with the vehicles I rented from Enterprise. Opps, they replaced a windshield with one that didn't allow room for the electronics to sit above the rear view mirror so they took off the casing and taped the electronics in place. When the vehicle heated in the sun the tape failed. The last (really, the last) was a car with such a compressed driver seat (leaning towards the left) it hurt my spine, badly. Ouch! Rented cars should not have such problems.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! THEY WERE RUDE, AND SHORT STAFF. HAD TO WAIT FOR 30MIN TO PICK UP MY CAR. DON'T RENT FROM THEM BC IF YOU ARE 2MIN LATE FOR DROP OFF THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A FULL DAY! THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO CHARGE YOU EXTRA.

I would suggest no one take the risk on this company just to save a few bucks, you may regret it. Our reservation was prepaid and non-refundable made thru CarRentals.com via Kayak. CarRentals.com does not provide a phone number on their email confirmation or website. The phone number provided by CarRentals.com for this local Advantage office was dialed no less than 12 times the day of our pickup. Due to a flight delay, we were unable to make it to the rental office before 11:59PM. Their "customer service" in Singapore told us that no one could stay at the office, there was no procedure for after hours pickup, there was nothing they could do, and we would have to pickup our rental car after 7:00AM the next morning. I asked to be transferred to the local office; the call went immediately to voicemail and I was informed that their mailbox was full. I contacted another rental car company and the representative indicated that it is regular for that rental company to be non-existent after 11:00PM on any given night. Our hotel was 35 minutes away and we were left to figure it out on our own. We were forced to rent a car from another company for one day and then make the trip back to SLC to switch the cars. This cost us two hours of our anniversary vacation and $70 for a last minute rental car for the night.
Rented a car from airport in Louisville Ky. got to counter and they made me go back to airline and get an itinerary to prove my return because I was paying with debit card and when I returned to desk the person helping was no where to be found and, finally the person looking for the person that started helping us said "OK I can help you"Then Knowing we are in, and will be driving across the Ohio river with the main freeway back and fourth having a toll bridge (no toll booth, electronic monitor) which charges $4 each time you cross it, was never mentioned by the rental company!! well we knew we would have some extra charges for the rental because we had to cross the bridge at time while we were there a week. Then the shocker came when I received the extra charge in the mail: Toll amount $24.00 (crossed 6 times) this was OK, The kicker administrative FEE $15 for each crossing!!! for a charge of $90.00, OUCH!!!There is other routes around this bridge and I would have used it more if I would have just been aware. Just another way for the rip-offs to cash in on their customers!!!
DO NOT DO IT! I'll admit, I saw the bad ratings on here and thought "oh I'll just make sure I document everything and I'll be fine" because they were the lowest cost option. Everything was fine while we were in Salt lake. Before we took the car, we went over every possible scratch, ding, and a large rock chip in the windshield with the representative from Advantage, it was all marked on the vehicle inspection form. At the end of our trip, we had the other representative check over the vehicle to make sure everything was fine before we left. Just in case, since I was paranoid of the bad reviews. They verified no damage and we were on our way.A week later I get a call from their collection agency saying they are filing against us for the chipped windshield!!!! She was literally the rudest person I have ever had to deal with, very insulting. Regardless, I sent her a copy of the vehicle inspection form with the proof that this was on the vehicle previously. Now, I cannot get any cooperation! The collection agency, just tells me "well I need to see what Advantage wants to do about it".... Um what do you mean?? We sent you proof that's it's not my problem!!The actual Advantage location is impossible to get hold of, I've read that in other reviews, the number online is only the 800 number for corporate, They gave me the store number, but it's a shady voicemail and nobody will return your call. I've tried contacting corporate Advantage and They keep referring me to the location that doesn't answer or the collection agency that will not do anything. This is the worst nightmare ever, IT WAS NOT WORTH THE LOWER RENTAL PRICE, NEVER EVER USE THEM!!!!
They don't have any morals, I can't believe they are still in business, someone needs to stop them. They are out there just to hurt peoplePlease check consumer credit bureau, They have more then two reports on them
Enterprise is great but this location and it's staff are exceptional bar none!! David, Chris and the whole team go above and beyond to make sure every experience is great! I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this location of Enterprise!!
I've never been more pleased with a car rental company. Efficiency and kindness are hands holding onto their professionalism. After our delayed flights, they were quick to pick us up at the airport and get us on our way. We ran into a problemore getting to our hotel up a canyon and they prepared a 4WD and had it ready when we came back and they didn't gauge us. We never had to deal with long lines, or employees with bad attitudes. I think our vacation would have been off to a horrible start had we not discovered this company.Look no further, contact them directly and get treated right.
Beware of Hertz at SLC! We had an emergency to attend to in the area on a very limited budget and had found a great deal through AAA that helped allow us to make this trip. That was until we had to upgrade to weather conditions where we had to go, snow falling and slick. Their representative went straight to the upper end SUV even though I had asked for a Jeep. He then pushed to have us take on the insurance even though I had previously told him we were covered. He evidently didn't understand the word budget that I had used twice in our conversation. English is his second language but he does totally understand the definition of the term up sell. I would suggest going straight to the Enterprise counter which we did the next day after bringing the SUV back to Hertz and having to deal with our "friend" again. As I couldn't get the word budget through his skull I said we are going now and I will need my credit card and license back. I really don't think he had ANY clue I was way less than happy.
